A disturbance in the dust.
A disturbance in the dust.
There is a trail of large canine paw prints in the dust. They lead from the entrance of the guild hall to the low burning hearth. Elsewhere on the floor are two smaller sets of canine prints covering the area.
Re: A disturbance in the dust.
Opal's dogs show up periodically to sniff them and run around excitedly before disappearing. Opal, however, is nowhere in sight.

Re: A disturbance in the dust.
Greebo looks up from his scroll but sees nothing. He wrinkles his nose as a powerful stench penetrates his decayed sinuses. It seems familiar but he can't quite place it.

Re: A disturbance in the dust.
A long drawn out howl cracks the silence within the guild hall. The lone cry is joined by several others. The call is unmistakable. The sound is that of a small pack of wolves. The distant cacophony of wolves is suddenly quieted and after a long moment a much greater bellow of a howl leads the pack's call once again. The chorus seems to be coming closer yet remains far out of sight.
Re: A disturbance in the dust.
At the door to the guild hall there lies a dismembered and rotting arm. Upon visual inspection it's obvious that the bony arm was gnawed on for several days.
Re: A disturbance in the dust.
The rot had a familiar stench. The limb had what looked like steam rolling and dissipating off into nothingness. The grass below the arm was frozen solid.
