Journal entries of interviews for the second task.

Upon the assignment, I set out immediately in search for the meaning of the mandate to others, therefore I could formulate my own personal philosophy, as it will.

First interview was Therean. He was a bit touchy, however that is his demeanor I suppose. He had very good points and made me think very hard about my own reasons for joining. In short, it was much more than a way of life, it was a calling to something more, not to be taken lightly.

Second interview was Nyali, we flew to her homestead near Feralas, and had a heart to heart about the mandate and her reasons for joining. It gave me a much broader perspective on the matter, as she related the mandate to life as we know it. This is a world at war, and the mandate guides our steel or minds to the path of peace.

Third interview was Ashenfury. He endowed upon me, knowledge of the more ferocious aspects of the mandate. No sugar coating, straight to business. In summary, kill or be killed, no mercy to the foes of the Horde. He also enlightened me the difficulty of discerning snakes in the grass in the Horde, and that we are humble, and to be known as merely the ones at the front lines of every battle, fighting for the glory of the Horde.

Fourth interview was Bryii. She told me about her background, and how she came to be a member of the Grim, and how it affects her perspective of the mandate. She steeled her heart through battle, and became quite a formidable mender for this organization. She fights for the greater good, in which is something we all should keep in mind when our lives are on the line.

My fifth and final interview was Sorienda. He spoke to me quite short and simple about the mandate and its meanings to him. It was a way of life, not a god, however a life philosophy, one that we should follow to guide our path to peace. He came to the Grim with nothing, and is now following the mandate with a purpose. One value that I believe is common throughout the entire organization.

To follow up the task, I finally interviewed my inquisitor, Dreadweaver Ryanica. She told me that she joined because of her sister, however now sees the mandate as a way to fight for blood and honor. One more blue badge slain, one more step to sating her thirst for vengeance, and one more step to peace. Through annihilation, there can be no true lasting peace. We are what we are, and that is the front line of the Horde, and the heralds of doom to all that oppose.

Peace through Annihilation.
