"Master, mail awaits you."
The low-spoken mechanical voice spoke suddenly to Jez'ri, awakening her from her daydream. She slowly sat up from her slouch, and then she remembered where she was. She was in the tavern in Murder's Row, which was nestled in the heart of Silvermoon City. Normally Jez'ri was not one to take part in Blood Elf civilization, but on this particular day she was bored enough to look around the city and learn more about her most hated enemy.
Jez'ri clicked the button on her goggles, silencing the annoucing voice. "Proceed with the message," she growled in her native Troll tongue.
It was from Khourshah. Her "trainer" in The Grim. And he had a mission for her.
She grinned and licked her lips as the voice spoke of the mission. Wonderful! Khourshah was finally giving her a mission, a task so that she could prove just how valuable and deadly she was. And it involved torturing her enemy. Well, the letter did not state torture exactly... but Jez'ri thought of a delicious way to follow Khourshah's instructions.
Shuhayl.
I'll be coming for you...
Jez'ri pulled out a few gold coins and set them on the table for her brew purchases. She ran out the tavern door, to her beloved raptor, Bloodclaw, who was patiently waiting for her outside. "Track down Shuhayl," she instructed the goggles on her head, pressing a button.
"Yes master. Scouting..."
Bloodclaw picked up at her anticipation and started to run, heading towards the Bazaar. Perhaps finally they would leave this disgusting, pretty place. Jez'ri turned the reins, making the raptor turn a circle. She was not leaving until they had at least searched the entire city for this Elf.
Nothing in the Bazaar. Sighing, Jez'ri turned Bloodclaw from the buyer's market towards the long walkway that was the Walk of Elders. She could not sense Shuhayl by hearing or smell, since there were many unfamiliar scents in the air. Once she could meet him and get a good good surrounding, she could track him down almost anywhere.
They had run down the entire walkway, almost to the end of the city. She pulled the reins on Bloodclaw, turning him around to the Royal Exchange. Elves, Elves everywhere. Her goggles kept highlighting figures, but they were all female and she was searching for a male. According the letter, Shuhayl was often found in the city, bemoaning the old days of when Elves once served the Alliance. As Bloodclaw turned into the Royal Exchange, she tried to listen in on cries of old memories.
"Ooooh, Alleria Windrunner! Where have you fallen?!"
Windrunner... the old Elven family name... and, perhaps... one of the Forsaken Queen's sisters...?
Jez'ri turned her head to the direction of the voice. Her goggles centered in on a figure, slowing drawing the outline, messaging it to her brain.
It was a male Blood Elf Priest.
Time to do some investigating...
Search... and destroy?
