Closing Time

Warneshi - May 23, 2006

Warneshi was drowning in that damn voice, the blade was indeed a
blessing, but one it was also one of the most annoying entities
Warneshi had ever met; how could he ever of been related to the
damn troll that was trapped in it.

Sul'Thraze had been jabbering on and on for days, so much so
Warneshi had wished he could sleep, just to escape its voice for
a minute. Warneshi knew why it was acting up, she was gaining in
strength again; Slys'Thok was amazing her loyal Sandfury
followers in Zul'Farrak, she was going to move out and attack
horde settlements in the name of Warneshi Sandscalp. He knew The
Grim may listen, but not the other horde, the first banner of
Warneshi's that would be seen razing any horde outpost or town
would be the end of any relations Warneshi and Thrall would ever
have.

The blade was annoying but it was right, this called for blood;
her blood.

Warneshi watched the streets of Orgrimmar, the winds blew just as
lazily as the few horde members walked the streets. It was going
to be time soon, the Sandfury were going to have to win their
war.

Warneshi sighed, he knew what was coming. Warneshi had been
trying to stall to give Regnanetah more time. Despite the
attitude he displayed to his brother and sister Sandfury,
Warneshi was afraid of the consequences of this war. Warneshi
knew his soul was going to be lost, they had no way yet to save
it. His only hope lay in the blade.

Warneshi hefted Sul'Thraze and stared into the blade.

"Yess soon you will be free, and Warneshi will take your place.
For the good of the Sandfury. We will free our people from her,
and then you may resst and Warneshi will take your place.
Warneshi will watch over the new Sandfury, as you watched over
the old."

For the first time in weeks the voice stopped jabbering and
sounded for a moment as if it was letting free a sigh of relief.

"Good king Warneshi is, strong and fair, only he dare to fight
her will, the world will be still when you death is given and
your soul taken. The Sandfury will be strong and true because of
you the world will know our power so that they can understand the
war you fought to free this lot."

Warneshi smiled, the blade was right. The world would know the
Sandfury again, and no matter what; Warneshi would always be
there to serve and protect his people. Warneshi sheathed the
blade and placed upon the mantle above his desk, Warneshi turned
to continue his work, and heard the blades voice one more time.

"Your father did love you king..."
