Emmons - May 20, 2006

Emmons' eyes slowly opened, a flapping breeze brushed his face as
he heard raptor talons ride up and come to a halt before him. The
world phased in slowly as the forest smells wafted into his
nostrils. The chirping of a whelpling is heard over the drone of
the forest, as Lilliana and Zuruzuru approached Emmons laying in
the middle of the road.

*chirp chirp* "Emmons! Emmons!" Emmons slowly sat up, clutching
his head. "Emmons! Are you ok!?", the troll priestess inquired.
Emmons, rubbing his temples responded, "I...I...is this Feralas,
how did I get in..."

"What are you doing laying in the middle of the road!?", Lilly
screamed.

The sound of hooves on cobble grew near, accompanied by a
sulfurous smell. A gnome warlock turned the corner straight into
the three. Emmons was the first to act, throwing blinding powder
in the gnome's face. Lilly and Zuru knocked him off the
Dreadsteed. Spells and stabs were exchanged briefly, and the
black aura around the gnome faded as he went limp.

"He wears the tabard of Aeon, more will come, we must return back
to the safety of Camp Mojache.", the Forsaken suggested. Both
trolls agreed, and set off for the Tauren outpost, Emmons
bringing up the rear. The sound of gnomes yelling in common grew
further and further away.

Upon reaching Mojache, Zuru departed, Lilly said goodbye, and
then went to the back of the inn to check over Emmons for wounds.
"So what exactly happened to you, might I ask?" She crossed her
arms and looked down on the rogue.

"I...I'm not sure...I was in Orgrimmar, talking with Vuudu on the
hearthstone. She sounded a bit funny. I understood her, but...it
was not a dialect I am used to. Then I remember hitting my head,
and something green...and I awoke to you, Zuru, and Vok'sith
hovering over me."

"Vok'sith, is that your lizard?" Lilly pointed at the whelpling
and scrunched her nose at it mockingly. Emmons thought for a
moment, it was his whelpling's name, yes, but...when had he named
it? He could not recall and merely nodded at her. "Well, let me
look over you, take off your armor." Emmons took off his
spaulders, gloves, chestplate, bracers, and boots.

"This is as *off* as they're going to get Lilly." She merely
rolled her eyes and looked him over, surprised to see no real
trauma. Emmons let out a hack, and an eyeball popped out fo his
mouth. "Hmm, so thats where it went."

Lilly interrupted screaming, "EW!!! EW!!! Put it back in!!
GAH!!!" The Forsaken chuckled, tore off the eyepatch he had
stolen from Rend Blackhand, and popped his aye back in, smirking.

Tremors could be felt far off, and Emmons let out a gasp of air
and began to shake violently, his eyes began glowing a bright
bronze, and his skin took on a luminescent glow. Lilly gasped at
the Undead rising, he opened his mouth to speak, but the
Earthquakes were back again and the world fell to darkness once
more...

[Lilliana]

Lilly found herself frustrated when she couldn't find anything
out of the ordinary upon the rogue. Since Emmons had spoken with
Vuudu before this strange incident, she had only expected.....

How strange it had been, to find Emmons whelping circling her and
Zuru for such a long time before Lilliana decided to acknowledge
it. Once she did, she began to yell at it and even hit the poor
creature of the head with her staff! She was not fond of Emmons
and his keen ability of tracking her down.

At least Lilliana wasn't doing anything she wasn't supposed to be
doing when the whelping found her...but....Emmons was not with
his whelping! The little beast had come looking for help for its
master, Lilliana concluded. She pulled Zuru along with her....and
found Emmons....

While Lilliana was inspecting the rogue, her dark red eyes nearly
burning holes in the forsaken, for she was not pleased with her
job as priestess at this moment....But, there was a tremble
beneath them. She felt Emmons begin to shake. The priestess only
had time to call out to Zuru before their world went blank, and
the spirits ushered them into darkness.

[Emmons]

Much time had passed. Emmons had returned from an exploration of
the Twisting Nether, a choice he deeply regretted, but things
were back to normal. There were new faces, new enemies, and
Emmons was already back to his hijinks. (Tricking Syreena into
almost burning down the orphanage, of which he was highly proud
of). The night had been great, he was out fishing for essences,
trying to trick Trilok into going on a wild goose chase for him,
and threatening Lilly with an "unknown" substance he was going to
sprinkle over her garments at night; a semi-fresh corpse had
decided to pick a verbal fight with him over why he chose to be
mischevious. Emmons cast his line out towards another pool of
elemental water, still deep in a debate with Zargoth, and before
the bobber hit the water, Emmons was gone, as the sound of
draconic speech once again rang out across his hearthstone.
