His name is.. monkey
Trilok - December 26, 2005
"Tell me something" Wadjet says as she rests her head on his
shoulder.
"Yes?" expecting a question to be asked.
"Anything, Just tell me a story," relaxing once more upon him.
::Pausing for a moment he reaches over to hold wadjet without
falling from the boat as a slight rustle is heard from his belt..
'ah yes...' ::
"A most interesting thing happened to me this evening," as it was
now the middle of the night in a cloudless sky with the stars
shining brightly.
"I was hugged by a paladin."
"Though this was not the strange part.. he always hugs me...
every time he sees me."
Wadjet turns her head up, "And you don't kill him?"
"Of course I don't, he is of no threat. Not once does he attack.
I've seen this human many of times, and he refuses to attack, at
least that of taurens. Everytime I've run across his path he
would be hugging every tauren he saw, myself included. Others
atack him, but he does not retaliate.. he'll retreat or stand
there, never raising a hand in anger. I do believe this man knows
nothing of this war that rages throughout the lands. I have no
need to alert him either." Trilok takes a deep breath and
continues his story.
"You see, he is always happy.. always cheerful, always hugging me
like I'm some sort of.. humans have dolls do they not? Its like
I'm a huge doll to him.. Its probably the fur. None the less he
is a happy human. When I crossed paths with him this day he was
much different. Again he hugged me, but this time he had tears in
his eyes."
"After his hug, he handed me a note.. a note I had seen before..
crumpled or burning on the ground. Many before me must have
ignored his gestures. I simply could not just shrug this note
off, his mood was far different than before, I had to read it."
