Threats and Decisions
Chilalli - December 10, 2005
Abric and Snowfeather exchanged some words earlier in the
evening. Snowfeather threatened Abric, basically, for him being
disrespectful to Hidua - Yichimet's father. After following Mohan
with the salve for Yichimet, Snowfeather rests outside of
Yichimet's tent. Abric appears out of the shadows to confront
her..
Stealth fades from Abric
Abric says: What were the words, Snowfeather...my life would be
forfeit? Or taken?
Snowfeather says: Did I stutter, Abric?
Abric says: I do not believe so, yet people find their words hold
more when said with others around. I would like to hear it
without the support of others to strengthen your resolve.
Snowfeather says: You calling me a coward? I meant every word. My
strength is my own.
Abric says: So people say until the time comes to show. No, I do
not call you a coward, Snowefeather. if I did, I would say it.
Snowfeather says: Show what?
Abric says: Unlike others... I will stay it plainly when it must
be so.
Abric 's lips curl into what could be interpeted as a bemused
smile.
Snowfeather says: Was there some confusion on your end of what I
said to you? You .. seem troubled by my words.
Snowfeather stands up
Abric says: Troubled? No. Yet I am interested. Many of you
believe statements can be said without repercusions.
Snowfeather says: ... you underestimate me.
Abric says: I do not. I make no estimate at this time.
Snowfeather says: Then why are you here? And.. what do you not
understand?
Abric says: Now? I understand it all.
Snowfeather says: Good. I am glad.
Abric says: I doubt you are, even if you are trained to say such
a thing. We will see your strength soon enough, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather says: Trained?
Abric says: Hm... my orc could be incorrect. Perhaps 'taught' is
a better term.
Abric says: Or forced. Positive words to reinforce a negative
statement.
Snowfeather says: I speak what I feel. Just like you.
Snowfeather says: I want you to clarify something for me Abric.
Abric says: Yes?
Snowfeather says: Why did you lock yourself in that room with
Licidion..
Snowfeather says: Frog got your tongue?
Abric 's face was surprised. His brow rose up and his head tilted
to the side in thought... or in an attempt to absorb the druid's
statement.
Abric resumes a more neutral stance after a moment.
Snowfeather says: You killed him.. and yourself...
Snowfeather says: Why?
Abric says: I see Licidion has opened his mouth on things best
not said.
Snowfeather says: It is of no consequence what Licidion has or
has not done. My concern is with you now.
Snowfeather says: See, it is a fascination of mine.. to
understand the Forsaken mentality.. past memories..
Abric glances around casually, even if it's purpose truly wasn't.
Snowfeather says: I ask all the Forsaken I .. trust.. about their
past.
Snowfeather says: I can tell you, hearing your name was NOT
something I was expecting.
Abric says: Here is not the place for a conversation,
Snowfeather. No place would be, if not the fact that you know
even that small of a piece.
Snowfeather says: I will find out more, Abric.
Abric smirks.
Abric says: You will, Snowfeather. I will not lie to who I am,
even if I withhold what I must.
Snowfeather says: Your demeanor betrays you.
Abric says: I will tell you what you wish to know, in a place
that will not be a meeting of those of lesser station.
Abric says: And... when you prove yourself otherwise.
Snowfeather says: Do not test me Abric.
Abric turns from Snowfeather, glancing to Mallix. Stepping back,
he seems to meld with the shadows made from the fire's nearby.
Snowfeather says: Typical..
Snowfeather says: Go hide..
Abric says: I will, Snowfeather.
Abric fulls fades from view.
((UM.. TOTAL SURPRISE HERE.... Had NO idea Licidion was there..
damn rogues..hehe))
Licidion says: You know, she will find out. And so will he. The
emotional one. He blocks it out. But he will soon know the truth.
Hide for now....
Stealth fades from Licidion.
Snowfeather snorts
Licidion says: You're only delaying your eventual demise...
Licidion quietly sharpens his fingertips with his dagger.
Snowfeather says: When did you get here?
Licidion says: Oh, I've been here quite most of the time.
Snowfeather says: Then I suppose ... you heard ..
Snowfeather says: ehm..
Licidion says: You all, having a discussion about him.
Licidion says: You realize, he's an uncontrolled beast.
Snowfeather says: He has a name.
Licidion says: There's a method to my madness, not to his.
Licidion says: We share the same name. I wouldn't want you to get
confused.
Snowfeather says: Your method is his destruction.
Licidion says: His destruction is your salvation.
Snowfeather says: No, I GAVE him a name.
Snowfeather says: Just like I gave you one.
Licidion says: His salvation, is your destruction.
Snowfeather says: Wrong.
Licidion says: What..is the color of love?
Licidion says: What..is the color of denial?
Licidion says: What...is the color of betrayal?
Licidion says: All....red...
Licidion says: Just like what will be flowing out of you if you
continue down your path.
Licidion says: Abric is no better.
Snowfeather says: More threats this night.
Snowfeather says: Stinker, I really detest you.
Licidion says: No threats. Just realities.
Snowfeather says: And I will free him from you.
Licidion says: I am not the one who will draw your life from your
corpse.
Licidion says: He will be.
Snowfeather says: We will see.
Licidion says: You will not see it until it is too late.
Licidion says: I gave you warnings now. Twice. How does that
saying go....
Licidion says: Three strikes and you're out?
Snowfeather rolls her eyes
Snowfeather yells: ROGUES.. damnit!
Licidion gains Stealth.
Licidion whispers, "boo"
Licidion says: You're life is forfiet
Licidion says: You can run
Snowfeather looks around searching for the hidden Stinker
Licidion says: You can talk your way out of things
Licidion says: But you won't see it until it's over.
Snowfeather looks at the fire and goes into a small trance
Licidion says: Death comes to those who wait....wait and
see...and you will see only the neather in your face..or...
Licidion suddenly shoves her toward the bonfire.
Snowfeather jumps back
Snowfeather yells: STINKER!
Licidion says: The flames will purify your idiocy
Licidion says: You know the flame is hot
Snowfeather says: And I will carve you out of his head with my
own fingers..
Licidion says: So why would you continue to approach it?
Snowfeather says: Crush you under my hoof.
Licidion says: Which one? The natural one? Or the one which feeds
your true tendancies?
Snowfeather says: Shut up.
Snowfeather looks tipsy.
Licidion says: Your soul is corrupt
Snowfeather says: You know nothing about me.
Licidion says: Do you wish to save yourself by doing something
grand?
Snowfeather says: You only say these thingsh to hurt me.
Snowfeather is drunk. Woah!
Snowfeather says: If it got rid of you.. I would die for him.
...hic!
Licidion says: Hurt..is what will come to you...if you continue
this facade'
Licidion says: You lie
Snowfeather says: I do not lie. That ish the difference between
you and I.
Licidion says: You want to feel good about something...does dying
for a grand cause help you sleep better at night?
Licidion says: Or will it help you get over your
little..problem...with alcohol?
Licidion says: Drench your sorrows in a pint?
Licidion says: Come now
Licidion says: We both know this is new since your hoof
replacement
Licidion says: What are you really trying to cover up?
Snowfeather says: Shhut UP.
Licidion says: Or what?
Licidion says: You'll drink yourself to death?
Licidion says: Then how will you save him from me?
Licidion says: Or yourself from him?
Snowfeather says: Damnit.
Stealth fades from Licidion.
Licidion says: You...are nothing.
Licidion slides his hand across her face.
Licidion says: You are a walking rug.
Snowfeather says: You are .. ...hic!
Licidion says: Who will make the best use of your rotted flesh?
Snowfeather says: You are..
Snowfeather says: ShHUT UP
Snowfeather says: Come back Shalty..
Snowfeather slaps Licidion across the face
Licidion says: Your muscle stripped from your bone...your bones
ripped out..one by one...while you still live.
Licidion grabs at one of her hands.
Snowfeather says: Let go!
Licidion says: The taste...of your skin..I bet it tastes like a
dwarves...
Licidion says: Full of booze
Licidion sharply bites down.
Snowfeather says: OW!
Snowfeather says: You bastard!!
Licidion pulls away.
Snowfeather says: That'sh it..
Snowfeather says: [Demonic] Ashke daz az u kamil
Licidion says: Oh, I'm sure it still runs through my veins..
Licidion says: I wonder if it carries through fluids?
Snowfeather looksh at the blood running from her hand
Licidion says: I suppose we'll find out..
Licidion says: You're dead, snowfeather...one way...or another.
Snowfeather says: That may be, but it will be on MY terms.
Licidion says: *whispers in her ear* Will your terms be jumping
off that cliff?? Or will it be when the disease flows through
your body...or turns on you as you will him??
Snowfeather gains travel form
((I bailed.. ... ))
Later in the Undercity....
Snowfeather says: Get up.
Snowfeather says: I want you to tell me in small words what the
hell is going on with Licidion.
Snowfeather rubs her bloodied hand
Abric says: He is insane.
Snowfeather says: No.. who is he.
Abric says: Mad. Mentally unstable.
Abric says: Who he is? That is his decision to say, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather shows him her bloodied hand
Snowfeather takes off the bandage
Snowfeather says: DO you see those bitemarks?
Abric crosses his hands casualy in front of him, leaning slightly
to his left foot.
Abric says: I believe he has stated previously his desire to eat
you, Snowfeather.
Abric says: While mad, he is not a liar.
Snowfeather says: You are too smart for a rogue, Abric.
Abric says: Indeed. Sometimes we find ourselves placed into
positions we did not want.
Snowfeather says: You are more cunning and manipulating.. you are
wearing sheep's wool and you and I both know it.
Snowfeather says: Your vocabulary is one of a scholar, not a
pick-pocket, backstabber..
Snowfeather says: And you made Licidion what he is... you
murdered him.. and I want to know why.
Abric says: Murdered him? Is that what he said, Snowfeather? Or
is that what you assume.
Snowfeather says: Then you tell me how you became who you are and
I'll decide who I believe.
Abric says: First you must decide what you want to know,
Snowfeather. I am not one of those who feels the need to cry my
story to those that will listen. I find no pleasure or comfort in
others who wish to offer some emotional shoulder.
Abric says: Is it me you are interested in, or is it Licidion?
Abric says: Or our relationship, before... this.
Abric moves his hands about himself, to what he was.
Snowfeather says: I am simply fascinated with the Forsaken
condition. Who you were, if you remember, what you feel now.. and
so on. For you personally, I want to know because of Licidion..
and because of your blatent disrespect to Yichimet's father
tonight.
Abric says: Hm... I can say much to that, but then we would be
trading words with no purpose. We would retort to each other and
walk off without no purpose or direction.
Abric says: I will not volunteer information to you, Snowfeather.
I will answer your questions. Ask them... in "small words."
Snowfeather says: Then you keep your secrets.. you arrogant
bastard.
Abric 's lip curls in something that was similar to a smile.
Snowfeather says: I'm going to find out, whether you tell me or
not you know.
Abric says: And I will tell you, Snowfeather. I prefer to take it
face value than you attempting to pull information from others.
Those who know nothing, and will only become interested in your
prying.
Abric says: Listen with your ears and not with your emotions. Ask
your questions... do not make comments and expect me to reply to
them as if they were questions.
Snowfeather says: Alright.
Snowfeather says: Who was Licidion to you in your life?
Abric says: He was my servant.
Snowfeather smirks
Snowfeather says: A servant.. to a rogue?
Abric says: My profession now was not my profession then. I would
not know how to explain my standing in something you may find
similar... I was no chieftain.
Abric says: More of... a holder of title. Insiginifcant in the
world we know today.
Snowfeather says: Fine.
Snowfeather says: And Licidion.. was he always insane?
Abric says: No. That was his own doing.
Snowfeather says: Alright.
Abric says: His wounds were his own doing. Unlike myself.
::Again, Abric motioned his hands over his frame.:: he did not
choose starvation to be his undoing. He ate himself. He ripped
his eyes out with his own fingers; which he chewed on as much as
he own hair
Abric says: and flesh. He went inside because he could not take
the pressure... the voices... the constant silence. He ended his
life because he was weak of mind. It broke, because the pressure
was too much.
Snowfeather says: But you locked him in that room.. didn't you?
Abric says: I locked both of us in that room, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather says: ..of course.
Snowfeather says: You gave him no choice. You chose for him.
Abric says: Perhaps I did, but he could of always turned away. He
was no slave, Snowfeather... he served because that was his
choice. So was his choice to hide... so was his choice to feast
on himself.
Snowfeather says: How could he have turned away? YOU locked him
in there with you.. You did that to him.
Abric says: Did he tell you why?
Abric says: Why we were hiding?
Snowfeather says: Something about men.. that is all he said..
Snowfeather says: Something happened last night and we weren't
able to finish talking..
Abric smirks at that.
Snowfeather looks down
Abric says: We hid from the Scourge, Snowfeather. Like many of my
kind, our downfall were the undead.
Snowfeather looks away to the slime
Snowfeather says: The Scourge..
Abric nods.
Abric says: Hope, Snowfeather. I hid because I hoped not to die.
Abric says: Licidion came with me, for hope of the same.
Snowfeather says: No..
Snowfeather clears her throat
Snowfeather says: He didn't tell me that..
Abric says: Of course not. You take the word of a mad man,
Snowfeather. You assume that I am some liar or thief that merely
works his own direction.
Abric says: You take the word of a mad man because it comforts
you. You find solace in somebody who is seemingly defenseless and
needs assistance from those 'like me.'
Abric says: Or... maybe more?
Abric shrugs again.
Abric says: Or none at all.
Snowfeather says: I made an assumption based on what was
presented.
Snowfeather says: As I said, we were not able to finish our
..conversation.
Snowfeather says: You aren't exactly the easiest person to ..
talk with.. so the leap of you murdering him was not a difficult
one in my mind.
Abric says: So one would think... and so many think.
Snowfeather says: I offer you my apology, Abric. I should not
have automatically thought you were the reason for his
condition... though I do wonder why you didn't smash him with a
brick when he started eating himself..
Snowfeather says: unless of course..some part of you enjoyed
watching a man do that to himself...
Abric says: Have you ever seen somebody eat themself,
Snowfeather?
Snowfeather says: I can say I have not..
Abric says: It is a frightening experience for the first time,
Snowfeather. The hunger gnaws at you... rational thought leaves
you as you feast on anything to end the craving. Shoes...
clothing... hair.
Abric says: The days pass and the hunger grows. Your body starts
to eat itself from within. You feel it, like some living beast
sucking your insides from its place.
Abric says: You are unable to think of anything but hunger. Your
mouth dries and your eyes dim. Your sense of touch leaves and
everything you ever tasted is just on the tip of your tongue.
Snowfeather checks her flask
Abric says: It becomes so bad, all you can think about is to
feast on anything that is in front of you. Your hand... the
digits seem to be like plump sausages off the fire. You nibble,
and you find that the hunger is sated. Sated for only a moment,
and so you want
Abric says: more.
Abric says: It does not end there. You start on the rest of your
arm, and soon anything you can put your mouth to.
Abric says: It sates you, and the hunger dims. Your mind stops
wandering and focuses on what you have done... and the pain sets
in.
Abric says: You scream... but you find you are unable to. Your
tongue was swallowed during your feast. All you can see is the
parts of you that are no longer there. Your silent scream crying
out to the person next to you... the person who is staring at you
in horror
Snowfeather says: STOP!
Abric says: You cannot stand it, no doubt... what you have done.
So you do what seems to be something so little now... little
compared what you have done. With your nibbled digits you rip out
of your eyes, to hide what you have become.
Abric says: Stop? You wished to know, Snowfeather. You wished to
know the truth.
Snowfeather says: Stop..please
Abric says: It is not always pretty, as some like to think.
Abric says: THAT is what made Licidion mad.
Snowfeather says: Did you ..
Snowfeather says: Did you do that too?
Abric died of starvation, that was enough to see. His skin was
pallid and splotched with what seemed to be unhealed bruises. His
hair had been ripped out, every single strand of it.
Abric says: No, I did not. How could I... after watching Licidion
do it?
Abric says: No, I stayed as attentive as one could. In event he
tried to eat me.
Abric says: He may have, if we had enough strength to reach other
other.
Abric shrugs.
Abric says: I may have as well.
Abric says: His mind left him before mine did.
Snowfeather says: You watched him suffer .. eat himself.. bit by
bit ..
Abric nods.
Snowfeather says: Why did you not put him out of his misery ...
Snowfeather says: You seemed to relish every little detail..
Snowfeather says: Like his weakness made you stronger..
Abric says: How would I? I was weaker than he was. My strength
left me when his still lingered.
Abric seems to think a moment, his lips pressed together in
thought.
Abric says: Relish? No... but I can see it happen, Snowfeather.
The memory is vivid, for it was my last.
Snowfeather says: If that is true, then how did you not get eaten
yourself? If he was stronger than you, it would seem obivious
that he would eat you before eating himself..
Abric says: I was his master. Where he could of easily strangled
me without much difficulty... he would dare not.
Abric smirks.
Abric says: Just as others we know speak words, but keep it at
that.
Snowfeather says: Are you referring to my statements to you
earlier again?
Abric says: To yours... and others.
Abric says: I believe you would attempt to do as you say,
Snowfeather. I hold no false thought that you are not capable
enough.
Snowfeather says: Do you think I would not go to the ends of this
earth to kill you if you idly stood by while Yichimet suffered in
that tent?
Abric says: To that agree? No, I do not believe you would. Then
again, I am not expert in your kind. I have only known Tauren as
I am now... not as I was.
Snowfeather says: I would do whatever.. *whatever* it took to see
you never move again if you were the cause of his prolonged
suffering. Even if it was not by my hand, I would see it done.
Abric says: Now that... I believe.
Snowfeather says: You seem to think that because of my lesser
status in training I am somehow devoid of the ability to beat
you.
Abric smiles again. A smile that did not have either amusement or
satisification or joy in it. A smile, just the sort that habit
brings.
Abric says: It has nothing to do with that, Snowfeather. I know
you cannot beat me because you would not reach that point.
Abric says: You are not stupid, and would know it would be
worthless to attempt it.
Snowfeather says: And you would be less of a .. man.. to even try
to fight me.
Snowfeather says: A stalemate, no?
Abric says: Less a man? I do not believe there is any less I
could go, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather says: I was trying to retain your dignity, Abric. I
do not know what you see yourself as now...
Abric says: Do not attempt to coddle me, Snowfeather. Speak as
you say and be truthful of it. I have no feelings to hurt or ego
to soothe.
Snowfeather says: Fine.
Snowfeather says: You know my itent. Do not sully it with your
arrogance.
Abric says: Is it arrogance you see, Snowfeather?
Snowfeather says: At this moment, yes... that is what I sense
from you.
Abric says: Is it? Or is it something you assume to be it.
Something you have to compare to others because I speak similar
to they do.
Abric says: What is arrogance to you Snowfeather. Is it how I
speak to others? Or because I seem to stand apart.
Snowfeather says: Both.
Abric says: Then why am I not self confident. Special.
Significant... perhaps wise or strange or even difficult.
Abric says: Why arrogant?
Snowfeather says: I have heard the way you talk to others, Abric.
Not just Licidion.. everyone. Everyone has something to prove to
you.. justify their existence to be in your aura.. that to me is
arrogance. Not wit, not charm, not intelligence.
Snowfeather says: You obviously hold yourself up to high
standards, and I believe you think nobody could ever match your
station... that is arrogance.
Abric says: Ah, then I would be arrogant.
Abric says: But you say that as if it is 'bad', Snowfeather.
Abric says: Is it?
Snowfeather says: No. Not a bad thing, but when it peppers every
word from your mouth, it complicates matters.. do you not agree?
Abric says: Indeed. Though in my arrogance, I do not see it as
some fault of mine.
Snowfeather says: How could you.. you see only what you want.
That is the beauty of the condition...
Abric says: So you assume I do, Snowfeather.
Abric says: While my eyes are not open to everything; they are
open to the truth of things.
Abric says: The masks of those around us. The lies and
half-truths people clutch to them as if it was the only warmth in
the depth of the coldest blizzard.
Abric says: They condition themselves to believe that without
this warmth they will die. They will fight for the warmth as one
would for that life.
Snowfeather says: So you assume that everyone you come into
contact with is lying to you.. to themselves.... to save
themselves from the 'truth' of it all?
Abric says: Of course not. You are being truthful now. Your quest
for knowledge. The betterment of your mind.
Snowfeather looks at Abric again smirking
Abric says: Yet, you fell into the warmth that you clutch to your
breast, Snowfeather. You believe I needed "reassurance" of my
emotions.
Abric says: You placed the mask that you actually care about my
feelings, when you do not.
Snowfeather says: I do not think you have feelings, Abric.
Abric says: If you thought that, then why did you attempt to
soothe them?
Snowfeather says: I did? How did I try to placate you? I do not
recall doing that..
Abric says: You attempted to ensure my 'manhood' was not broken.
Abric says: As I would lose some by fighting you. To placate, as
you said.
Snowfeather says: No, perhaps I did not phrase it properly.
Abric says: And why not?
Snowfeather says: What I meant to convey is that you would never
battle me personally. It would simply be beneath you to do so...
Just as I would never be as foolish as to accept a duel I would
lose in a heartbeat.
Abric says: But, you did not say that. You wanted to word is
neutrally, as if I may take some offense.
Abric says: A mask, Snowfeather. Your interaction with others has
given you that.
Abric shrugs.
Snowfeather says: Perhaps it has. I will be more plain with you
in future.
Abric says: And you will receive the same.
Abric says: When you do not... then you get my 'arrogance.'
Snowfeather says: I have misjudged you, Abric. Though I will
admit I am wary of you still.
Abric says: As you should, Snowfeather. If the choice came for
your death or mine... you would be a memory as I 'lived' on.
Snowfeather says: Truth be told, Abric..
Snowfeather says: If I knew that you would somehow find solace in
that, I would gladly toss myself off the tip of Freewind Post for
you.
Snowfeather rubs her hand
Abric says: Your attempt at kindness is noted.
Snowfeather says: It is not kindness.. it is the Her way.
Abric says: Now, what other questions do you have, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather thinks a bit
Snowfeather notices her flask is completely dry
Snowfeather says: I suppose I don't have anything else.. I've
definitely been enlightened tonight..
Abric says: And so the time was not wasted.
Abric takes a moment to think of something, before he spoke.
Abric says: While I believe you would carry out your words from
earlier, Snowfeather... the others I do not.
Abric says: Mohan... Trilok... Hidua. All are fools in my eyes,
for they speak as fools do.
Abric says: Each will be repaid in kind, for as I am truthful I
also find myself fair.
Abric smirks.
Snowfeather says: I cannot speak for anyone but me and I can
safely say I know you better than I know them. It would be a
fool's game to ponder their will.
Snowfeather says: I only know that my concern for Yichimet is my
driving force when it comes to Hidua. Hence my aggravation with
you tonight.
Abric says: As a fellow... Irredeemble, it is best to know that
my approach is to enlighten those who believe they are safe from
anything but themselves.
Abric says: Each will lose what they thought they could take;
just as Streyth lost what he had the inability to use.
Snowfeather says: Streyth is.. a broken little flower.
Abric says: This, I am aware.
Snowfeather says: He deserves whatever pain comes his way until
he sees with his eyes.
Abric says: When ones fire dims, one becomes desperate and
depressed.
Snowfeather says: Tell me..
Abric is listening, even if he did not give a verbal response.
Snowfeather says: Why do you call some of the women in our house
names ..
Snowfeather says: Ugly names..
Abric says: You must speak of Lascivious and Ceryna.
Snowfeather says: Names that men say to women after they pay them
for favor?
Snowfeather says: Yes..
Abric says: Lascivious deserves her name for the name she has
chosen herself. I find it doubtful that 'Lascivious' is anything
but the persona she wishes of herself after her....
'enlightenment'.
Abric says: A woman of lust is a whore, and so I call her as she
wishes it.
Snowfeather says: And Ceryna?
Abric 's tone changes when he speaks of Ceryna. Anger hovered on
each syllable.
Abric says: She is a temptress for what how she acts. Everything
she does seems to be something new, just as it is something
forbidden.
Abric says: She was intriqued by me, before she knew I looked
past her mask.
Abric says: Now that she has broken some of it, she may be a
temptress no longer.
Snowfeather says: She was intrigued by you calling her such an
ugly name?
Abric says: A tauren is a tauren... to call it that is to say
truth.
Snowfeather says: Alright. I'll let that go for now.
Abric says: Just as a whore is a whore or a temptress is a
temptress. if the names were not true, then they would take
offense.
Snowfeather says: I understand. I am just surprised they both let
you do so..
Snowfeather says: At any rate.. I have one more question if you
will oblige.
Abric nods.
Snowfeather says: This is a selfish question. I freely admit it.
Snowfeather says: Licidion ..
Snowfeather says: I have been presented with a situation.
Snowfeather says: One that I do not know how to proceed..
Snowfeather says: You .. being one who knew him before.. during
..and after his transition..
Snowfeather says: may be the only person who will give me the
answer I need.
Snowfeather says: So I ask you this.
Snowfeather says: Licidion's .. other... the one that speaks with
intelligence..
Snowfeather says: has said some things to me that have given me
reason to question my actions.
Snowfeather says: There is only one way to say this, so I'll
abandon the ... mask..
Snowfeather says: Licidion.. the crazy one.. if it is even
possible is falling in 'love' with me.
Snowfeather says: Licidion ...the intelligent one... is telling
me I must crush his spirit so that he can take over..
Snowfeather says: My burden is this..
Snowfeather says: Lead Licidion along because I enjoy the crazy
one even though there is no chance on Cairne's nethers anything
would come to pass between us...
Snowfeather says: Or tell him he is a fool, break whatever is
left of his 'heart' and let the other one take over... if that is
possible.. the one I despise.. the one that bit me tonight..
Snowfeather rubs her bandaged, bloodied hand
Snowfeather says: Who is the real Licidion?
Abric says: The one who stands before you when you speak to him,
Snowfeather.
Snowfeather looks up
Abric says: He is quite real. In regards to his madness, it is
self imposed. Intelligent or crazed... he is what he is.
Snowfeather says: That does not help me..
Abric says: The real Licidion died some time ago. All that is
left is the one who could not face what he did to himself.
Abric says: Do what one says or the other... that is a choice you
make. While what I have said is opinion... I cannot offer facts.
Snowfeather says: What would you do?
Abric says: Ah, the real question you wished to ask.
Abric says: I would play a mad man's games to my own benefit.
Abric says: Yet, it is a tricky line to cast when delving into a
broken mind.
Abric says: You answered your first set of questions yourself,
Snowfeather.
Abric says: You know which one you 'want'. To take action on that
is selfish... but truthful.
Snowfeather says: What I want and what is right are two different
things.
Snowfeather says: The outcome of the want is false hope.
Snowfeather says: The outcome of the right is releasing a
monster..
Snowfeather says: I cannot win.
Snowfeather says: I want to do what is best for HIM not for me.
Abric says: Then I am the wrong person to ask.
Abric says: I can only think what I want for myself. Just as you
can think for your own.
Abric says: Is that helpful? Probably not, Snowfeather... but it
is all I can offer.
Snowfeather says: Right now, no.
Snowfeather says: Nor is my option open to speak to Licidion..
Snowfeather says: not after he bit me..
Snowfeather says: You look.. tired.
Snowfeather says: if that is what happens to you.
Abric says: I am always tired, Snowfeather. Though sleep never
comes to me.
Snowfeather says: Another question, but I'll ask later.
Snowfeather says: I have needled you enough for one night.
Abric says: When the time comes, I will answer it.
Snowfeather says: Well, I am off to restock my .. supplies then.
Snowfeather says: Though I was not expecting it. ... you have
impressed me.
Snowfeather says: I will want to talk to you again. ... soon.
Snowfeather says: But for now, I will leave you.
Abric says: Until that time, Snowfeather.
Snowfeather says: Ishnu Por Ah, Abric.
Snowfeather says: Indeed...
Abric turns from Snowfeather, moving to the edge of the dock and
sitting back down. With legs crossed, he stares into the entrance
leading to the Dark Lady.
Abric says: Each will lose what they thought they could take;
just as Streyth lost what he had the inability to use.
