Finding Her Way by Vajhala

Wandering the ways of Durotar, running was more like it,and frankly, the running part was becomming tedious, but her skills in finding a suitable mount were becomming something akin to a excersize in hilarity, for others, for her, it only served to prove the point that her bum was not made for landing on it hard. So she wandered, under her arm was the preciouse book her Sire gave her upon her comming of age. A book of Maps. With its aid and a pack, along with a pair of very sturdy boots, Vajhala found herself moving up and down as well as across the lands her family called home. Her family such as it was anyway were wanders, but up until a few months ago she had never ventured far from the Tribe, now she was a loner, having choosen to find her own place in the world. A strange place this World was, so many differnt types comming and going, she had made the great City of Ogrimire her first place to reside in. It was a busy place full of strange and intersting things to see. The smells were intoxicating, the sight of the great winged lion creatures enchanted her. The envy obvious as she watched others astride the jewelled colored Raptors trotting here and there, watching everything with malicious gazes that only deepened her desire to one day have a mount such as that. It was in Ogrimire that she met a female... she had of course seen the roaming skeletal creatures, Dead come to life to continue their existance. Syreena... Their first meeting was with a snowball. Vajahala had never seen one before never mind getting plastered in the face by one. So stunned by it she could only stand there and blink as the other woman whooped and laughed at her. Vajhala retortted by sending her a very rude gesture... but the two became friends after a fashion, learning that sometimes trouble came better when paired up with someone willing to show her the ways of the Lands. Several times they had gone on strange adventures... hunting "Kitties" was a favorite past time of both. The Spiders were fun to beat up as well. Though the Hyenas were formost on the young Orgeshitlist, she hated thoes beasts with a passion.. It tok some "growing up" but eventually Syreena introduced her to her guildmates... thoes of the Grim. And Vajhala thought that she would like having a place here with these .. people, though getting to know them was difficult, the few times she saw them, they were heavy into Guild business. It irritated Vajhala, because she always felt behind in some way. Why she wondered often enough when she "mindspoke" with ehr wayward friend only to find that she was off adventuring with them. To exotic sounding palces, to look for the fabled Dragons, or to crawl through some dark dungeon. Vajhala lived to hear of these tales, of smoke and blood, of chasing the hated Elves across the land, of finding rare and wonderious treasures. Vaj smiled too herself in the remembering of it.. She had already a wounderious item, a wicked sharp knife of the Fang, as lore said there was much associated with the knife, adn to gain all the Fang would bring her much in strenth and glory. Vajhala was at heart a warrioress, though she often grumbled that she was at the "Kiddies" table and she was working hard to inmprove her skills to become a wide faring adventurer herself. It was yet another day, and she swore that she too would soon become strong enough, skilled enough, talented enough to go with the others to make Bloody war, and come away with great treasures, to have her name in the fables she grew up on thoes stories of her youth only fuelled her resolve... But for now, she took in a deep breath, made sure her pacs were secure, her book in its place... and startted her daily run into the Mountains north... perhapes there was spiders to be found. Perhapes a new friend.
