Growing up I always knew I would be a defender of my people.
My father was one of the guards for the Prince and my mother was a Mage of great power.
He has been reported missing in action during the fall of Quel'Thalas, every time I see the guards in Silvermoon I think I will see his face.
Maybe his story is like mine, maybe he was porting somewhere and wound up somewhere else.
My unit was sent to scout the advancing armies of the human Arthas.
We all arrived in the same place but the air smelled a little bit different, the Sunwell tasted just little bit different.
I thought it was the shock of the portal it always seems to do strange things during that time.
We scouted for and found the advancing armies.
The war, well you know the war, I know the war, we all know what happened to Silvermoon.
When I made it back there I was not surprised to see my home destroyed,my family missing, my oldest sister fell during the second battle ofQuel'Thalas.
My little sister was safe in the priest academy, my mother was busy as usual in the courts and in the Mage guild.
The men, my brother, my father.
These two were not to be found, I asked Mother if she could help, butwith the destruction of the Sunwell everyone was dazed, everything washazy.
Mother and her fellow mages were working on a new source of power or maybe a repairing of the Sunwell.
Curse Arthas.
And the rest of the Alliance may their lands burn like ours did.
Chaos, anarchy, wretchedness, all these and more prowled our lands with the destruction of the Sunwell.
This is not the time to speak of those dark times, this is supposed to be the writing of my return home.
After Mother reconnected to a new source of power she discovered thatwhile I was her child, I was not. Her explanations involve longer yearsof arcane study than I have. She spoke of soap bubbles and spheres, wild magics, chaos and just blind chance. It seems that during myportal to scout the mages made a slight miscalculation or the madprince Arthas mage's had their camp protected and I was flung throughthe Aether, my group arrived where we supposed to go but on anothersphere.
It is strange to know that my Mothers personality could be so strong onmore than one sphere. She arranged for me to be sent home and askedthat I look for myself there.
Now won't that be a strange thing to see myself, will I be the same asI was before the breaking, perhaps I will be a great Magus, maybe Igrasped the dark forces and became a Warlock, maybe I stayed aPriestess.
I hope this self is like myself, I hope during the time of my lowestdays she met Lady Liadrin and became an Avenger of our People. I hopeshe became like me, death to the Alliance and anything that touched ourlands with anything but the lightest foot.
I hope she like me became ....

I was riding my mount threw the snow in Winterspring when I felt a pull and felt hellfire and heat.
Standing in my sister’s lair in the Under City again reminded me of aschool girl and getting called into the principal’s office. Knowing Ihad done nothing wrong I decided not to break down this time and dowhat she asked.
*Vendaira looks up from her grimoire*
“Sister you look well and your mount looks calm, you seem to have ittrained. You may be wondering why I have called you here to my ‘Lair’ Ithink that’s what you call it, I have pledged our support for an outingand I find myself busy with other things. Dawnspire will be there, orwould you rather I send Redcap?”
*The Blood Knight dismounted and whispered the words to send her mount back to its storable form*
“You had better send me; Redcap is busy with tasks from The Dark One.Besides if diplomacy is called for I would be a better choice.”
“As you wish Sister, you will be assisting The House of Ghant withtheir expedition this night, you were chosen by me because of yourskills in healing and blessing, you are also an Officer of Blood Moon, and you need more work with groups and you need to see a good leaderand how he leads his troops. I know you try to lead the way … I believeyou called him The Dark One leads. I am not saying his way ofleadership is not inspiring and not something you couldn’t eventuallydo but your skills in groups and leading groups is nonexistent. I amsending you with the tyrant Netheryn and you will obey his orders andyou will do us proud”
**The Warlock makes a gesture with her hands and Mahakali finds herself in Hammerfall in the middle of a formation**
“Mahakali Dawnspire, reporting for duty, how do you need me”

Tasks, tasks, tasks.
So much to do and so little time, it seems like everyone has something for me to do.
I finish with one task and the person next to him has a grocery list ofitems he just happened to need or loose walking up to his perch on thecity walls.
These new allies we have, they have so many things for me to do. Isuppose it is better that I earn my own way as opposed to relying onthe largess of others to pay my schooling and trades.
I listen in the cities I work in and the city of portals, i listenbecause most people give away that most valuable commodity, moreprecious than gold, gems or glowing items, they give away informationfor free.
Listening in at the City of Portals I hear of a land which has beenoverrun by the Scourge. I head there and find a bulwark built upagainst these wondering fleshmobiles.
The army there is a mix of horde races and professions. I wanderthrough their tents and listen to them all musing on where the leftthis or that and how much they are offering for curios from the front.
Now this I can do, getting paid for killing Scourge and killing Scourge are what I enjoy.
These skinsacks are truly not much of a threat to me, I am encased insome of the toughest armor I have ever laid eyes on, its nature andenchantments make me stranger and healthier. Bevial is truly a masterof his trade, I am not so bad myself.
Well killing them one at a time seems so boring, so i get on my mountand ride around until 6 or more are clammering for my blood or brains,The Sunwell only knows what these wondering piles of treasure do when Iam not around to blast them back to darkness.
Later as I am counting my money and resting, a forsaken wearing thecolors of Grim comes riding into camp, It seems my money making ventureand grim satisfaction revenge machine is about to have another cog.
Looking at the Forsaken rogue, I shout out. “Hey Skumm, fancy seeingyou here, want to kill some of these... well heck I don't know what Iwould call these things, but let's kill them.”
He said something or I am sure he made some noise of the positive, youcan never tell with a guy who constantly replaces his lower jaw withparts found off of our disposed enemies.
So Skumm and I head into the Western portion of these lands and we gothrough these shambling horrors like shit through a goose, we destroyedthese things so quickly that killing 5 or 6 got to be boring, Iactually made shopping lists in my head while slaying.
I even saw that ginger haired sex machine, but as usual he is too busyfor me, well never fear one day he will be mine, or maybe ill talk tothat sexy priestess I saw the other day, she was very nibbly, goddess ihaven't felt like this about a girl since finishing school.
Good news we are off to clear our the eastern portion of these lands.

Uther was such a hoot, to think the vermin have him as a legend, Ialmost feel asleep blocking him and his minions to death. I wonder if Ican go back and just use my shield to kill them all.
I don't know about you but metal is not your friend in snow, very chilly out here
I have spent several nights now running with The House of Ghant, goodpeople, they run a nice "Stop here and kill everything" sort of evening.
I spent last night with Shinwa, Qabian, and Vilmah exploring the Cityof Stratholm there were Scourge everywhere, and there were fewer whenwe left.
I didn't get to Vanguard much there, apparently they needed my healingpowers more. I went to the bank and got all of my frilly things thatmakes me remember the power of The Sunwell and I healed our groupthrough this strange city. I hope we go back there soon.
I got a note about a Dark Portal last night, I am going to explore it soon.
This new world will learn what it means when a Blood Knight walks itssoil, the new foes and allies will know that Mahakali Dawnspire walksamongst them.

Mahakali's Song
"Broadsword"
By: Jethro Tull
I see a dark sail on the horizon set under a black
cloud that hides the sun.
Bring me my broadsword and clear understanding.
Bring me my cross of gold as a talisman.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bring me my broadsword and clear understanding.
Bring me my cross of gold as a talisman.
Bless with a hard heart those who surround me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind. Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on for the motherland.

Interesting a raid on Darnassus.
I was knee deep in dead and dying Grim, it was heal heal heal until Iwas out of mana. I hope my training continues to the point where I canactually Vanguard, my skills were too low for this so I assisted whereI could.
I did get to save someone several times, with the amount of damage he was taking you would think him a warrior.

I was promoted to The Grim earlier this week for services rendered.
It has been a interesting month, I have traveled to the outlands and discovered to me, many new things.
My life which was mostly quiet due to the administrative duties has been filled with chatter and exclamations.
Who knew The Grim were such a bunch of scholars where they wouldexpound on the topics of "Why The Sindoeri are a plague on the horde? Why gnomes make better appetizers as opposed to desserts. Who let allthese fucking Blood Elves into Grim? Does this shrunken head make melook more evil or this one? Why does this one guy always have anopinion? Where is Abric? " the list goes on and on, I have learned somany interesting way to cook night elf that I should start a cook book.

As I swung my blade through the beasts neck, a sense of understandingfilled me. Power poured into my veins and I could hear all of eternityechoing in my soul.
Elation poured through me as I understood what it was my teachers had been trying to tell me for so long.
Light, glorious wonderful light, from the beginning of creation filledmy soul and I felt peace for the first time since the Sunwell wasdestroyed.
Now for the hard part, acquiring the contacts and equipment to fight the foes of my Nation, Race, and guild.
Run Vermin, death comes.
