Khadmus stood at the edge of the grassy section on the Scryers Tier. His meeting with Acherontia had not gone as planned but on the positive side he now had help in finding his fathers location. His revenge woould be swift and with these thoughts out of the way he could focus on his true potential to bring chaos and destruction to the alliance.
A small icicle clicked as it passed between his fingers. He felt some anguish and realised that the link between he and his brother, Khelse, was still very strong. The link would hopefully be severed with the death of the treacherous mage.
A whistle called the horned skeleton horse to his side and he lifted himself up into the saddle. With a click of his heels the horse was running to the Scryer lift. He decided that it was time to follow another lead he had received from the goblins of Booty Bay. He also knew that he would have to contact some known horde in order to help him achieve his goal.
The Hunt is on. Thought Khadmus.

Re: Vengeance Unleashed by Khadmus
Khadmus sat on the horned horse in Brill. His brothers body laying in front of him, still within the deep trance that came from the link they shared. He loved Khelse as any brother would but with this curse apon them Khadmus felt weaker and knew he had to release them from it.
" While one walks the other must sleep. Only a truely significant event can sever this tie."
The words rang through his mind as he looked to Lothien, a Blood Elf who mastered in hunting. He had known Lothian for a long time, since before his death and having him as an ally again was reassuring to the mage. They sat waiting for Acherontia's currier with the final news of his father Kherus' location.
The assistant Khadmus had slain the other night after hours apon hours of torture had told them that he was hiding within an alliance base near the plaguelands.
Lothien had contacted a rogue named Xevec and a druid named Nerus to scout ahead and see if they could find the location of the mages father. The assistant had also told them that Kherus followed the orders of a scourge lich by the name of Araj. It had narrowed the search but he knew his father was ever on the move lest his enemies catch him. Khadmus intended to end his travels.

Re: Vengeance Unleashed by Khadmus
A voice came through the stone.
" Found him. Southshore." Xevec said in a low whisper.
" Lothien, we move on Southshore. I will have my revenge this eve."
Nodding Lothien began riding ahead of Khadmus in the direction of Tarren Mill. It is there they will meet up with Nerus and make their way to the allaince town of Southshore. Nestled into the land just off the shore.
As the horse seemed to move quicker than before all Khadmus could think of was exacting the revenge he had lived for since beginning this new existence. Khelse had been in his slumber for most of this new life. Khadmus was the stronger of the two and was able to hold sway over the link. His hair blew back in the wind. Its greenish tint almost blending into the darkness.
The cover of night would allow them to enter the town a bit easier as most of the people within would be asleep. Khadmus hoped for nothing more so that he may enjoy this tender victory.
Khadmus saw Lothien glance back to make sure he was keeping up. The golden blonde hair whipped in the wind as the one spiked spaulder bonced from the ride.
It only took the two a small time to reach their first objective. Nerus, a tall black furred Tauren stood waiting at the church near the edge of town. Half of a horn was missing on the right side of his head from a battle faught before they knew each other. Nerus was a friend of Lothiens that he had met not too long after being ressurected. Xevec had been one of the towns people that the scourge had turned along with Khadmus and his brother. Togethor they could accomplish much. Their talents ranged and served everyone in different ways.
" The rogue waits outside the inn by some trees." said Nerus as he shifted his shape into a spotted yellow feline.
" Let us make haste so we do not miss our moment." replied Khadmus as he turned his horse into the direction of Southshore. " Blood will stain the ground before this night is through."

Re: Vengeance Unleashed by Khadmus
Khadmus stood quietly outside the back of the inn. Most of the town was asleep except for the nightwatch. One guard had been dealt with along their walk to the bushes beside the building. Lothien and the mage awaited the return of their druid friend Nerus.
The Tauren had gone ahead to find Xevec and make sure that they could move freely so as not to wake the guard. During this time the events that brought Khadmus to this day contiually played through his mind. The imprisonment for helping the Blood Elves when they needed help. The bounty hunters the alliance sent to kill him after his father had freed him. Worst of all, the day his father left he and his brother to die by the hands of the scourge. Trapping them with a few others in a spell so Kherus could run away only to join the scourges cause. It made sense to Khadmus that his father would do this. The interest he always showed in the gladiators made him more than deceptive in many ways.
Suddenly Khadmus being shook violently. He looked to see the giant hands of Nerus placed on each shoulder.
" Khadmus, we must move now. Our opportunity has arisen" the druid said in a whisper.
The mage nodded his head and they proceeded forward. Entering the Inn they found the bodies of two card players in the main hall near the fire place. Their throats slashed with blood laying across the table. Khadmus recognized them as two hired mercenaries that he had seen working for his father previously.
The small group made their way to the stairs. Lothien carried the body of Khelse while Nerus had turned into a horned cat in order to move silently. As they turned the middle of the stairs Xevec appeared to them and whispered.
" The mercenaries in the other smaller rooms have been silenced along with a guard while they slept. There are still five more between us and Kherus."
" We should move quickly. Nerus and you should move into the room behind the farthest of them. Once I enter the doorway begin your attack."
The two horde nodded and vanished before his eyes. Now is the time, thought Khadmus.
The mage took a few steps upwards and entered the doorway. The mercenaries all looked at him in amazement and everything that began to take place seemed to take years to pass.
Khadmus watched as blood began to spill from the side of the mercenary that stood to the door for the farthest room. Xevec appeard and placed another dagger through the throat. As this happened claw marks appeared across the stomach of another. The marks open shirt and skin and entrials fell to the floor as the horrified man fell over. Khadmus flick his wrist towards a third mercenary and in an instant the mans shape turned into that of a pig. The closest to the mage stood up and began to race toward him. The mage sent his hand forward and an icicle in the shape of a lance flew through the air impacting the mercenary in stride. the body flew back making a loud thump on the floor.
The last turned to flee out the closest window but Nerus moved in between the escape and the man. Pouncing the druid clawed at the man till he did not move anymore.
In the doorway to the last room a shape appeard.
" Khadmus?!" yelled Kherus as an arcane blast came from the surprised mage and sent the rogue flying across the room. Another movement froze the druid in place. With him distracted Khadmus used a spell to move across the room in an instant and as he appeared he reached out and grabbed his father by the throat and began to lift as he pinned him to the wall.
Ice and snow began to float around him as the anger inside burned. Kherus released another arcane blast but it reflected off the newly formed barrier.
' Your magic will not work on me now. My Ice Barrier can protect me from that. I have waited some time for this opportunity and now my vengence will be visited apon you" Khadmus said with a loud voice. " Lothien, bring in Khelse."
As Khadmus finished Lothien stepped through the doorway and came close to Khadmus.
" You see your sons now before your death father. You shall see that your betrayal has brought this to you and you will suffer for your actions."
" I am sorry son. It pained me to do what I did but I...".
Kherus words were drowned out by the fingers of the undead mage as the began to push farther into his neck. Blood began to drip from the points that Khadmus grasped at.
" The time for you to speak is at an end. I will not allow you a chance to mutter enhantations to summon your scourge beasts."
As Khadmus spoke he felt his power growing ever stronger. Out of the corner of his eye he also saw movement in his brothers body. He had done it. The power that eminated in him told the mage the bond had finally been broken between his brother and he.
With this news fresh in his mind the mage used his other hand to rip the throat away from Kherus. As blood sprayed Khadmus dropped the body and watched as his fathers body fell to the floor with his arms grasping at the opening. The undead mage pulled a knife from a small holder at his side.
" This knife has been waiting at my side for this moment and now it will complete its task."
With one swing the knife entered the head of the choking father at the temple. The mans hands dropped as the body sagged to the floor. Blood began to pool as Khadmus turned looking to the others and smiled.
" Let us be gone before the guards show up to our massacre. The night has been glorious to us."
Khadmus moved out the door and felt his rage beginning to die out. Now he could begin to attain his true power for the Grim with nothing to hold him back.
