Wandering by Wenstell

Unread post by Keeper Of Lore »

Wenstell strolled away from the meeting, a smirk playing on his face. He had
sought out the Grim because of their reputation, a reputation he was now starting
to doubt. Too much talk of prolonging the suffering and cleansing of affliction.

The only bit good bit of information gleaned from this little gathering, was of a
certain corpse acting with some hope of true understanding. This one had made a
sacrifice in the Undercity, and though sloppy in his work it was a promising sign.

Perhaps he just needed guidance. After all, Wenstell had left blood trails in his
youth. Blessing the chosen with death was an art, something to be perfected.

Lifting his fingers from his delving of the young girl, a smile cut across Wenstell's
face. An essence like smoke, though clinging with a life of it's own, flowed about
the troll's hands and moved thickly in the gaping hole that was the girl's torso.
Intricate designs had been cut in certain places about her body to form a larger
five pointed star like pattern.

As her last breath fled her body, the girl had uttered in a deep hushed voice

"Shattrath City"

He now had a destination. A place to find this other follower of the Old Ones. He'd
have time enough to find another vassal to bring forth the name of this priest.

It would have to be something strong... an infant perhaps.... or maybe a larger
sacrifice.
