History Before The Grim: Krinathalasa grew up in the magical city of Silvermoon long ago. Like most of her people she does not count her age. It is meaningless to those who have eternity. Daughter of Count Alran, she grew up around wealth and luxury including an arraigned marriage to a cousin of the Prince himself. Years would go by and while the world turned outside of Silvermoon, her world was perfect. Krin's son was born the same day the Alliance crushed Ogrim's horde. Everything was perfect. Then the Scourge attacked.
Her husband and son were part of the defensive forces that defended Silvermoon. The son was on the wall while her husband joined Sylvanas's expeditionary force out in the field. History books talk about the defense in indepth but for Krin it was pure hell. While she walked the halls of her tower, her loved ones fought. Krin's husband was one of the first to fall to Arthas. Needless to say a part of her died that day. The rest of Krin died when she cradled her son's lifeless corpse among the ruins of Silvermoon after Arthas's death charge. She heard the howling of banshees nearby and picked up her son's weapon, determined to defend his corpse. It was to her horror that the nearest scourge was her husband, subservant to the Lich King. She would have died that day if it wasn't for a nearby Farstrider who killed her husband. Krin passed out afterwords.
When Krin woke up she found out later that her whole family was wiped out by the Scourge. She was now a Countess without a family. It would be weeks before she recovered both physically and mentally enough to leave her home. During one of her walks she heard of Lady Liadrin and the new order of Blood Knights. Curious Krin paid the former priestess a visit. She heard the dogma, witnessed the captured Muru, and was determined from that point on to never be weak again. Krin was one of the first Blood Knights of Silvermoon.
