Spent his living years in search of his sister, Lascivious. Joining the mercenary band, The Blades of Lordaeron, he used them to further his training and a means to seek out his sister. Slaying horde he gladly did for free.
His original plan was to find Lascivious and release her from the "torment" of undeath. Being an impatient man, this was proving to be a plan in need of revision. Sammuel decided to turn his sights higher to end his sister's "suffering". The elf bitch Sylvaanas.
Entering the sewers of the Undercity alone, Sammuel was intercepted by members of The Grim, his sister being one of them. Turning his body against him they performed an arcane ritual to bring Sammuel to undeath.
