Thrysta

Unread post by Thrysta »

Full Name: Thrysta
Titles or Nicknames:  Inquisitor of The Grim
Age: Unknown
Race:  Forsaken
Gender: Female
Hair:   Dirty blonde, thin and patchy, matted with blood.
Eyes:  Black, sunken sockets.
Height:   5' 2"
Weight: 75 lbs
Notable Physical Features:
Thrysta's face is a ravaged mess, her body dry and dessicated. Bone protrudes prominently at her joints.
Her lower jaw and mouth are almost completely devoid of flesh, with vicious scarring down to the bone across
her forehead and cheeks. Her hair is lank and patchy. Her vestments and armor are torn and stained with blood
and ichor. Open wounds are frequently apparent on her face and body, as she rarely mends herself beyond the
point to simply keep...functional...as she percieves it.

Place of residence: The Undercity
Place of Birth: Unknown
Known Relatives:
- Husband: Yarvick (deceased)
- Son: Tylar (deceased)
- Daughter: Tira (deceased)
- Brother-in-law: Wilek (Forsaken)

Religion/Philosophy:
None. The forces she wields hold
no spiritual conotation for her whatsoever.
As for a philosophy...tranquilty through murder, peace through annihilation.
She holds an adherance to The Word, and little else.

Occupation:
None. Thrysta kills.  It is what she does.
Healing those who can assist her with this
is merely a means to an end.
Guild Rank:   Dreadweaver
Known Associates:
Wilek, a rogue within the ranks of Blood Moon Rising.
Known Nemesis:
Anything she hasn't killed yet, to greater
and lesser extents.  Anything not of The Word.

Special Skills:
Strong healing talent, and a capacity for pain and injury beyond most others.
Thrysta will snap one of her own bones in combat, and most likely use the jagged end
to stab her opponent to death, rather than succumb to the pain. She shrugs off most
wounds and even, apparently, seems to enjoy and/or take strength from them.
Positive Personality Traits:
Determined.
Intelligent...many mistake Thrysta's imbalances for simplemindedness.
Those who have thought to use her to their own gain have often become separated
from their own vital organs through underestimating her mind and lucidity.
Negative Personality Traits:
Incredibly anti-social and sociopathic. Little to no empathy.
Quiet, with little to say amongst The Grim.
Although, when she does speak, most listen.

History Before The Grim:

The priestess Thrysta is one of the most useful hounds of The Grim. Sometimes you can't even tell if she is loyal to The Mandate or if she uses it to sate her own lust for blood. Most of times it doesn't even matter. You can trust her to attack our foes without mercy or hesitation at sight, but as with any aggressive dog, one must keep an eye on her. The day she turns against our own is the day she must be put down.

Thrysta knows the Word.  Beyond that, she is one of the most entertaining Grim I have encountered.  She does not need a mind of her own because she does not need a mind to know what she wants.  I rather enjoy tossing mice her way to watch what she does with them.

This one lacks even the semblance of control that Cessily possesses, her dark passion and vindictive nature seem to me to be uncontrolled and destructive, destroying the alliance should be done, one should not enjoy it.

I see much weakness in her and it is fortunate that she has latched upon the mandate like a sick child to its mother. It strengthens her not the other way around.

This one is best managed as follows: poke the slavering beast in the right direction with an expendable pole. Be prepared to throw a sacrifice of meat in its direction and run if it grabs the pole and starts to thread its bloodied and broken body towards you.
Grisbault, Twice-Made.
The p, s, l, and t are silent, the screams are not.
