History Before The Grim:
Born as an embarrassment and bastard to the Riftwinds, Sethinus was orphaned and eventually adopted by the less than kindly Bloodleaf Estate. Indentured servitude to a harsh taskmaster instilled a certain sense of contempt for authority in him, and during the Second War, Sethinus recalls how he as a young child relished the misfortune of the Bloodleaves seeking refuge in Silvermoon City. In the years before the Shattering, he was drilled in the art of the sword, as were all footmen on the Estate, and once his masters were ultimately decimated in the Cataclysm, Sethinus found himself with little but his martial abilities to sell for survival. The elf traveled to Stranglethorn Vale and earned a living by providing security on rum runners and other cargo ships operating outside the precise scope of the law.
History In The Grim:
On his various bodyguard assignments, encounters with the Alliance forces were frequent and bloody. Upon one such skirmish, Sethinus befriended a member of the Grim named Tuskinar who, impressed with the warrior's prowess, elected to sponsor him into the Mandate. Seeing a the possibility of greater riches and the chance to prove himself as a blademaster, Sethinus became a Supplicant under the gaze of Bryii Duskwind. The frank and sometimes risque nature of the Inquisitor suited his mood, though despite the time spend shipboard with raunchy sailors, sometimes even Sethinus was left searching for words. Their camaraderie solidified during the war against the Aspect of Death, and even more so during the Supplicant's trials.
With Deathwing defeated, Sethinus enlisted with the Siegebreakers, where Ashenfury taught him the meaning of hatred towards the Alliance, as well as a taste for their blood. Garrosh's war has been escalating, and thus far, the blood elf has received his wish for chances to prove his mettle...
