Becoming a Shaman | The Lone Grim Maw | Reincarnation | Becoming Grim

Ashenfury captured, shackled, then tortured a smug artist of Silvermoon into writing the Orcish Songs of Valor. He claims to be the author of the songs but will occasionally let slip the truth. Usually after too much grog and songs.

History With The Grim:
Ashenfury became High Inquisitor of The Grim and maintained the Inquisition during the end of the Northrend expeditions through the Cataclysm. He gathered several trinkets in his office.

The Blood Angel
A plain piece of stone lies on the bookshelf in Ashenfury's office. The stone looks to have been carved out of a larger piece. There are few tool marks and there is nothing remarkable about the stone.

Meeting Ugraz
A pair of large metal toes are tucked away on the bottom shelf of the office's book shelf. They have crude grafting mechanisms that were meant to make the toes operate as a prosthesis. The contraption looked rather painful and is obvious why they are no longer used.

The Gifted Axe
Ashenfury has a three tier weapon rack in his office adorned with an assortment of skulls. Each skull is painted red and black in different patterns. On the rack is a heavy axe with a rather large blade. The blade has a bronze hue to it, styled to resemble a mountain. Engraved on the surface of the blade is a scene of two wolves in a moonlit field. Their heads are tipped upwards, singing tribute to the wolf-spirits in the sky. The guard of the axe is zig-zag-shaped, like lightning. Its grip is of a red metal set with onyx. The pommel bears a series of sapphires.

The Cleansing
Ashenfury has a simple dagger that is chipped and worn on his book shelf. It's runic symbols once held powerful enchantments. The weapon's power has been broken.

The Shadow of Stranglethorn
A tooth that looks to have been cracked in many places sits on the book shelf. The tooth is small and pearly and upon closer observation looks to be human.

The Box
Ashenfury has placed another trinket on his book shelf. A small box with teeth marks. The box is open showing images are contained within. They are photos of Alliance falling to their death. There are a handful of Alliance insignia inside as well.

Shamanic Rites
During the exploration of Pandaria he was called to the Nether to fight. He passed his role to Awatu and prepared himself for The War of the Nether as well as his eventual return.

The Haint | Just the wind
It seems you can't keep a good dog down. The spirit of Ashenfury can't help but haunt the guild hall. Old habits die hard as the Orcish soul comes to rest at the hearth that the body had known the comfort of.

Preparing the Host | The Return
Ashenfury returns from his battle within the Spirit Realm.

The Flesh Hound Obeys | The interloper
The current state of Ashenfury. In progress!

I first met this orc in a cave above the Wailing Caverns. For a long minute, I wasn't sure if he was aiming to separate my head from my shoulders. It's a damn good thing he turned me over to Bryii instead - after riding with the Siegebreakers, I've seen what this shaman can do on the battlefield.
