Teg

Unread post by Teg »

From adolescence, Teg's ability to cause reverberating communication with the elements gave him entry to the path of a shaman. Most of his earlier enjoyment of being mentored down that road came as a result of being given special treatment - like exemption from some manual labor - because of it. As his tutoring progressed though, Teg liked the power he wielded; much of the village he was raised in respected him, and electricity flowed from his hands as words from an Elf.

He finally left the village to join the Horde's battles in Ashenvale. The tenacious Night Elves felled many of his comrades, but for some time, Teg felt as if he was in his element. Combat was exhilarating for him! His green-blue skin, uncommon for most Orcs, blended him better with the foliage - and is perhaps why he didn't receive an arrow between the eeyes himself.

One day, his entire troop was pinned to the side of a cliff. The only option available to the group was a high risk riposte - nearly kamikaze in nature. The Orcs charged forward, and while the axed many of the tree-folk, there was only one survivor other than Teg - and both had been injured badly. His companion's wound was fatal, and Teg's right leg was nigh-unusable. Though the young seer tried what he could to help the victim next to him, he wasn't well-versed in the healing power of water.

When the cavalry (wolv-ery) arrived, they had a shaman of their own. She had obviously done her practiced in that area though - Teg's leg mended in minutes. The others were long dead. Dukmag, his savior, commended him for bravery, though Teg felt the compliment hollow; he'd been unable to save those of equal valor. He vowed to himself to learn from Dakmag, and so he did. Months later, he anger had been honed into making him one of the best battle-menders around. His ire towards the Alliance had likewise intensified though, and he sought a conduit for his rage.
