History Before The Grim: Young Canai spent much of her time in Moonglade, after answering the call of Hamuul Runetotem. It is there that she first learned of the hatred and contemp most night elf druids had for their Tauren peers. The Archdruid Fandral Staghelm was especialy outspoken on the topic. For reasons unknown, he arranged for Canai to be framed and removed from the Cenarion Circle. On her way back to Mulgore, she was attacked by a party of night elves. Barely escaping with her life, she took refuge in Thunder Bluff. It was there that Canai became aware of the Grim, their goals and their Mandate. With her hatred for the alliance growing, she resolved to make the Mandate her own.
