History Before The Grim:
Khorshah's family, a minor branch of the Stonehoof tribe, live in quiet obscurity in southern Mulgore. His father was a dedicated pacifist, and tried to raise his children in the same manner. This may even have worked - and Khorshah's story been far less interesting - had the young man not heard the call of the spirits and begun training as a Shaman. Early in his training he befriended an Orc named Morg, and acquired his friend's enthusiasm for battle and desire for glory. On his return home, Khorshah announced his intention to join the armies of the Horde, and was promptly thrown out by his father. The two never really reconciled, though Khorshah remained in contact with his sister.

The Tauren and his companion fought together for two years, first in the Warchief's armies and then later as mercenaries, one more pair of adventurers in a sea of faces. They distinguished themselves in the service of the Argent Dawn, and it was there that he met and fell in love with Amiliya Plainstalker, a hunter who also worked with the Dawn.

When the Dark Portal was reopened, the three traveled to Outland together. With them and other allies, Khorshah fought in many of the key battles there, and then eventually in Quel'thalas at the Sunwell itself. Shortly after Illidan's fall, however, word came that the citadel of Naxxramas had left the Plaguelands - and that strange crystals had appeared all over the world, raising a fresh wave of the undead Scourge. Khorshah returned to the Plaguelands, and was assigned as second-in-command to a mixed force of Horde and Alliance soldiers, serving under Count Rugen of Stormwind. Amiliya was assigned to scouting parties elsewhere.

Rugen was a distinguished commander, but also an ambitious man; when Varian Wrynn returned to his throne in Stormwind, Rugen saw an opportunity to curry favor. Khorshah, Morg, and their entire squad were left to die in the Plaguelands, while Rugen and his soldiers returned to Stormwind and safety. Khorshah, Morg, and their soldiers were annihilated, and Khorshah's story should have ended there. Sadly, the Lich King had other plans.

Khorshah was raised as a Death Knight, and served the Scourge in the campaign against the Scarlet Crusade. The Lich King's hold on him was complete, even forcing the Death Knight to kill his own helpless, captured lover. Like the rest of the Knights of the Ebon Blade, Khorshah was freed after the battle at Light's Hope Chapel, and with Darion Mograine pledged vengeance on the Lich King. His acts while under the thrall of the Scourge - particularly Amiliya's death - weighed heavily on him, though, and his mourning led him back to Outland.

While there he regained his focus and once again found a sense of purpose. Sadness gave way to anger, at the Alliance for their betrayals and at the Lich King for what he had done. It was also there that he learned of the Grim and their Mandate. With his journeys in Outland finished, Khorshah boarded a zeppelin for Northrend, but not before seeking out the meeting hall of the Grim and making known his intention to join them.

History In The Grim:
-Distinguished himself by leading assaults on all four Alliance cities during his time as a Minion; three of those assaults resulted in the deaths of Alliance leaders, though the Stormwind assault failed. Was rewarded with promotion to Warbringer.
-Took on the job of Inquisitor for the Troll rogue Jez'ri, and later had the promotion made official.
-Assisted in Cristok's 'End to the War' assault; uncovered the treachery of the Wyrd Sisters and exposed the fact that Cristok had been fooled by the Lich King's minions.
