Unread post by Oralech Cinderfall »

Full Name: Oralech Cinderfall
Titles or Nicknames: 'Mad Dog', Orr
Age: 225

Race: Sin'dorei
Gender: Male
Hair: Dyed a vibrant orange
Eyes: Green
Height: 6`1"
Weight: 190 lbs
Notable Physical Features: Plenty of scarring across his body, yet his face remains oddly untouched.

Place of residence: Silvermoon
Place of Birth: Quel'Thalas

Known Relatives:
Velemir Cinderfall- Father / (Deceased)
Oliranna Cinderfall - Mother / (Deceased)
Telira Cinderfall - Sister / (Deceased)

Religion/Philosophy:
Since the destruction of Quel'Thalas and Garithos' betrayal of the Sin'dorei, Oralech has never held much room in his heart for the Light that he respected so much in his youth. There was no point in devoting oneself to something that never bothered to answer his prayers.

This loss of faith gave birth to a brutal side in Oralech. He is now comfortable with doing anything necessary to achieve his goals- regardless of bloodshed or 'war crimes.'

This is especially strong when it comes to any matter dealing with humans and their Alliance- anything to their detriment is permissible. He cheered on the bombing of Theramore as a slaughter of a hated enemy. He applauded the rule of Garrosh, since he struck heavier blows against the Alliance than any other warchief. He even started accepting things he'd otherwise find unnatural- like Sylvanas' efforts to create more Forsaken to bolster the Horde's ranks.

Occupation: Sellsword
Guild Rank: Supplicant

Special Skills:
For all that he appears to be a brute, Oralech's training to become a Spellbreaker made him an expert with blades and shields, although he abandoned the latter in favor of larger swords after leaving Prince Kael'thas' side. While his Spellbreaker training once granted him magical resistance, he has long since fallen out of practice- and denies ever having magical ability.

Since he mounted his one-man crusade against the Alliance from Stranglethorn, Oralech became a hardy survivalist and tracker- especially after Laeynna personally taught him the finer points of botany.

Positive Personality Traits: Honest, determined, loyal, good-humored, surprisingly perceptive, bold
Negative Personality Traits: Unrestrained, aggressive, blunt, competitive, joker

History Before The Grim:
Oralech grew up fascinated with his mother's martial prowess as a Farstrider, but lacked the archery talent that was needed to follow in her footsteps. Instead, he took advantage of his astonishing brute strength and quick wit to quickly prove himself as a viable Spellbreaker candidate. Unfortunately, the fall of Quel'Thalas quickly extinguished any hope of him taking on that title.

When the Scourge stormed Quel'Thalas, Oralech lost his entire family- which had fallen as they each fought against the undead like the proud soldiers they were. Oralech himself only managed to survive because he was wounded early on during the siege, and was then assigned to protect the remaining refugees.

Even without the title of Spellbreaker, Oralech's resolve to protect the Sin'dorei remained steadfast as he joined prince Kael'thas in earning his people a place in the Alliance- or so he believed, anyhow. When his people were arrested and thrown into the dungeons of Dalaran by Grand Marshal Garithos, Oralech learned just how futile such hopes were.

Even though Oralech escaped to Outland with Kael'thas, he has since held a deep-seated hatred of all humans. They were happy to sacrifice Sin'dorei soldiers as they retook Dalaran, and thanked them with a death sentence. That was something that Oralech could not forgive, nor forget.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Prince Kael'thas simply did not share Oralech's hatred for the humans, and instead was distracting himself with matters in Northrend and the Scourge. As a result, the warrior set out on his own and eventually found himself in Stranglethorn, where he mounted a one-man crusade against any Alliance soldiers and outposts that he could find in the area.

This crusade would continue for several years, until Oralech heard about a new Warchief who was just as eager to spill Alliance blood as the Mad Dog himself- Garrosh Hellscream. Upon hearing of the new direction that the Horde was taking, Oralech immediately signed up to join the Horde's ranks once more and quickly became a loyal servant of the Horde.

Unlike many of his fellow members of the Horde, Oralech had very little problem with Garrosh's more brutal acts. He cheered at the bombing of Theramore and relished the thought of countless dead humans. In fact, he even took a direct hand in some of the worse war crimes during the Ashenvale war, although he refuses to speak at length about them.

This choice would end up having severe consequences for Oralech, who chose the wrong side during the Siege of Ogrimmar. His loyalty to Garrosh ended with him barely escaping the city alive and eventually bleeding out before Laeynna.

Luckily for the warrior, Laeynna remembered Oralech from the Third War, where he had once protected her from a Scourge attack- and she decided to repay that deed in kind. Over the course of the next month, the botanist used her extensive medical knowledge to nurse Oralech back to health, before the two of them finally parted ways once more.

Now disgraced for his close association with the worst of Garrosh's monstrous acts, Oralech simply sells his blade to the highest bidder- although he now seeks out a potential future among the Grim.
