History Before The Grim: Araim served the Dark Horde within Blackrock mountain both before and during much of the clans servitude to the Black dragonflight. He was employed as a battle mage due to his natural affinity for the magic ways. More than this however he was employed for his skills with invention. Rend Blackhand personally oversaw his work on new, more powerful weapons of destruction to one day be turned upon their enemies. Before his escape Araim burned all schematics and scale models he had built so as to prevent them being used by rend in his campaign of evil.
