How did you hear about The Grim?

Two of my best friends are members of your guild. Luna and Astriana. I got them started in WoW almost... hmmm... 8 or 9 years ago.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?

Over the years, I have been a member in many internet forums on several subjects. While I can't justify linking every post on the forum to my e-mail address I will likely check this forum a few times a week.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

Most of my role-playing experience has been pen and paper with small groups of friends. Recently I have mostly been a GM in pathfinder games. I have run several 6-9 month long games as a GM. I also played a game of DnD 3.5 long enough(over about 6 months) to get my Monk to level 17'ish.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?

While I haven't really played a Lawful Evil character one of my longest played character(my level 17 Monk from 3.5) was a devoted follower of a Lawful Evil goddess. She literally made my character who he was(she race changed me). I was also actively bringing people into her worship. Which my GM thought was really funny.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.

I have been playing Twisting Nether since I started playing WoW 10 years ago. Almost all of this time I have been in Amangur Empire. Back in BC-mid wrath time frame I was one of the main raid leaders of the Guild. We got started late in BC as a 25 man guild. But we did clear Black Temple before Wrath. We did ok until we got to Ulduar. At which point player turn-over in the guild slowed our progress. People started to get upset about us not clearing the Raid quickly... and they then left. I am sure you have seen this many times. But in the end enough people had left that we could no longer run 25 mans.

In short we were unable to continue our raiding. While I continued to play WoW on and off over the years we were never successful at following up our successes from BC. I don't really want to be a raid leader anymore but when I am playing games I don't play at half measures. I am still in Amangur Empire to this day. But nobody is really playing over there anymore. I have done some stuff with Astriana and Luna recently. But for the most part I haven't done much over the last year.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?

I am just looking for some people to play with have a good time. For the most part I will focus on PvE as my Moonkin.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?

I am run most of the raids between BC-Cata. I haven't had a group of people to play with much at all recently. So other than LfR I haven't done much in the last year or so... I normally play my Moonkin. While I could play other specs I prefer playing my Moonkin.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?

Honestly, I am not a big fan of PvP. I have done quite a bit of pvp in WoW.

I don't think my name will have any problems with guidelines. This is the name that I have been using with my characters in MMO's since I started playing MMO's.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?

My computer is really good. Haswell cpu @3.5Ghz. 32GB of Ram and a GTX 870. My Internet is also rather good. So I doubt I will have any problems technically playing WoW.

I could add quite a bit... but honestly I have been working on this for over an hour. I have extensive experience with PvE in WoW and in other MMO's. And I would like to raid in WoW again. Since my only friends that are still playing WoW are in the grim clearly I should join you guys. Hopefully we can all see the raids in the up coming expansion together.
