How did you hear about The Grim?
First I met Lilliana, who RP'ed well, then I met other Grims like Leyujin, three identical orcs, Brishen, and some Grim associates.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
I am a member of the StarCraft 2 Forum Posters clan (SFP). I browse the WoW general discussion, and even the beta forum sometimes (I can't post there since I have no interest in experiencing content early at no benefit). At my university I had to get acquainted with a South Korean and some locals as a mandatory part of an online class I took.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I've read the vast majority of RP guidelines and I know nearly every tidbit of troll lore I can find.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
I've no problem RPing a villain, but I'm not a gigantic fan of being evil for little to no reason (e.g. Cataclysm's Deathwing). Their should always be a self-imposed rationale behind it all: Cultural influence, the mentality of "You owe ME," personal gain, or good-guy-gone bad in an effort to better support the people (Arthas).
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
I've been playing since 2009, and I've seen many guilds change in various ways. I stayed largely with real life friends and family, so all went well. The most friendly experience I've had was on BoreanTundra-Normal server, where the southern-folks taught me concepts and how to play. Afterward, a friend invited me to Nazgrel-Normal server, where we raided at a fixed schedule successfully until everynight became "drunken bear night," and the guild slowly started to fall apart as the GM lost more-and-more sobriety. Afterward, I took a break for some StarCraft, but then came back. Since then I've been roaming for an actual RP-PVP guild. I love RBGs, and I used to roll with one team from Emerald-Dream via Cross Realms. Given all communities, I learned more from PvPers about mechanics and adaptation than anyone else in the game. At this time I just want to PvP at a decent pace, enjoy the game, and indulge with others who share an equal appreciation for lore.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
No.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
RP and PvP. Nothing else in the game stretches creativity and ingenuity like both of these qualities.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
I raided in Wrath of the Lich King for patch 3.3, and then continued for more when Firelands and Dragon Soul came out. I stopped after MoP landed.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
I definitely like the pressure applied by Affliction nowadays. I used to roll in RBGs and nearly reached 1700, but fell short by 7 points because our group stopped. We only ran for a short time, and thus never reached our full potential. I learned a ton in that time span, and I would love to do so again. If there's anything I can give, then I'd gladly do just that. I'm also full Prideful at this time.
Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
Yes, I have reviewed the guidelines.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
Connection is stable. Occasionally the company will take it down for maintenance when late-night comes, but overall net speed is smooth. My computer is also running on quality graphics.
Provide an armory link to your character.

Do you have anything further to add?
I might not be writing the other section today (7/12), but I'd like to have it up ASAP. I'm going back to the University when fall semester hits, so that'll cut into time. Right now my work hours are generally acceptable for playing at night (they're not set shifts, but they are always good for playing when evening hits).
