Grim Application For Kogrona

How did you hear about The Grim?
-I've known about the Grim for forever, I couldn't point to exactly who told me about them or when I was first introduced to them. Up to this point, however, I've never quite worked up the courage to ask if I could join.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
-I do have some experience with forums. I check them infrequently.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I would put myself in the middle somewhere. I'm no beginner, but I'm nowhere near as masterful a role-player as some others are. I've role-played off and on for years, and I generally enjoy myself.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-Yes. I was a member of Infection for years, and I believe that would qualify. That being said, I tend to make characters that are more chaotic evil, neutral, or good than lawful evil.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-Nightmare, The Immortalis, Infection, and Raven Cross. I honestly don't remember what happened to either the Nightmare or the Immortalis. I still have two characters in Infection, and I don't believe Raven Cross exists anymore.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-I am applying on an alt. What I'm really looking for is a solid role-playing environment where I can relax and enjoy myself with other players who also love role-playing. I'd also like to have fun with those people by questing, exploring, PvPing and the like. My current main is Kargron, and my previous main was Terich.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
-As already stated, I hope to have a good time playing with others who have similar interests to my own. One hope is that Kogrona will develop and evolve as a character as she spends more time with the Grim and grows in loyalty. Aside from role-playing, I'd like to focus on PvP with Kogrona, as I've always enjoyed the rogue in PvP. Obviously, I intend to hit 90 first.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-I enjoy PvE much more than I used to. I tend to enjoy questing, levelling up characters, and doing old raids with as few people as possible. I have limited experience with raids in general, as they've always seemed a bit intimidating to me, and I have only recently started running them due to the Looking for Raid feature. Healing tends to be my favorite role, though I have limited experience with this in raids.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-PvP was my first love. This is what I spent the majority of my time doing back in classic and BC. I'm not quite as into it as I used to be, but I still enjoy PvP immensely. While I still like healing in PvP, I tend to enjoy classes like the rogue a lot more than in PvE.

Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
-Yes.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-Computer performance is fine, I never notice any problems, even at the worst of times. My internet connection is stable most of the time.

Provide an armory link to your character.
-http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/t ... ona/simple

Do you have anything further to add?
-In character, Kogrona sounds pretty nice, especially for an Orc. I suppose she is. However, as I'm sure you're aware, just because someone is capable of putting on a smile does not free one of evil. That's all I'll say for now. I'm excited at the possibility of working with you all!
