How did you hear about The Grim?
- I used the in game 'Guild Finder' feature and this website given in the Guild Finder guild description.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
- I have made webpages and operated forums before, and have used guild forums
for other games. The frequency I check the forums depends on how heavily used by the guild.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I am very new to role playing. I have put some time researching the lore and the basics of role playing before applying this application, but am very much looking for guidance when I start.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
- I have no experience but I do not believe my character will conflict with the guild alignment.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
- I was with a raiding guild in Classic Wow on this server. I've only played for a month here and there ever since Burning Crusade came out, and am now interested in getting
back into Wow. I left due to school.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
- I am applying on my main.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
- My expectations is a friendly environment OOC and to experience role playing IC. Once I finish leveling up I will be interested in Battlegrounds, World PvP, Arenas, Raiding, and spending all my spare gold on pets and mounts.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
- My PvE experience is raiding through out all of Classic Wow. My main during these raids was a Warlock, though I had experience tanking and healing in a pinch. Wow is my only real pve experience, since I play most games for the PvP aspect.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
- My main character in pvp experience is a warlock. I do put a lot of effort into looking up how other classes play so they don't pull a fast one on me in pvp. My modern experience is limited in wow, how ever I have played organized pvp in Guild Wars 1 and 2 with good results, along with Knights of the Old Republic (with not so great results. =P).
What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
- I am currently in between calls with my job, so I have a very open and flexible schedule. I can not guess what my work schedule will be like in the future due to it changing on a site to site basis. The Monday interview will work better for me currently.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
- My computer can run WoW at maximum settings with no issues. My internet provider is solid most the time. Rarely it will disconnect me to the log in screen.
