Grim Application For Korock

How did you hear about The Grim?

Through my many travels on Twisting Nether. Seen them in passing, competition on progression, etc.
-

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?

I have ran (created, and edited), admin'd, moderated, owned, and, or course, used forums.
-

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

Moderate. I have ran a large heavy (not solely) role playing guild on Twisting Nether itself back in the Cata days.
I can roleplay, I can be immersed into a character, but i do have plenty of improve on.

-

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?

I am normally lawful good, just because of my personality in real life, and what i portray in games.
I would see no difficultly in being evil though, I have pvp'd since vanilla, you used to have to do some evil things to get those honorable kills in those days.

-

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.

Too many to list in my near 8 years of playing. I have ran more guilds then I can remember, but I have ran one large, and somewhat cata-era successful guild on Twisting Nether on the Alliance side, <IN> (Infinite Nuance), I was also 2nd in command of the current Horde guild, <Nocturnal Element> for a few months, (I have in-game confirmation and reference of this from their Guild Master)

I only left <IN> because I needed to temporarily quit wow.
I only left <Nocturnal Element> because I wanted to raid badly.
I only want to leave my current guild because I want to raid 25 mans, and would like to get more into WoW roleplaying.

-

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

N/A, Korock is my Main.
-

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?

25 Man Raiding. I do not in any way expect to raid right away, but I will make a name for myself in the guild, and be there when slots open.
-

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?

My class of choice in Shaman. Restoration primary, and DPS off spec.

I have played PvE since Vanilla Wow.
Did not raid in Vanilla.
Burning Crusade: I was the 4th best paladin TANK on my old server of Storm Scale. Was MT Raid Tank.
Wrath: I missed wrath entirely due to the Military
Cata: I had high geared healer and tank, primarily main tanked, and raid led, raids, except for Deathwing.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?

I have played PvP since Vanilla Wow.
I have a First Sergeant ranked character, and several Grunts and Scouts. (Old title system)
I have 25,000 Vanilla kills on an old character of mine, I only note this, because its from the time from before when you had to actually be in the fight to get HKs, you couldn't just be sitting on other side of BG.

-

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?

The Monday Interview time would be possible.
My Schedule of play.
Mon-Fri 6:30pm-12ishpm
Sat & Sun All Day

-

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?

FPS Alone: 100+
FPS 40v40 PvP: 30
FPS 10man raid encounters: 40
FPS 25 LFR: 30

Latency Average of 70ms/70ms

Do you have anything further to add?

I believe i can be a strong addition to this guild in several aspect.
I have trained, and natural leadership abilities (I literally have a small gathering of followers in game)
I have strong technical skills from designing, running and managing websites, spreadsheets, documents, etc.
I am all about guild-worth over self worth, I create flasks, donate herbs, push to meet weekly challenges, instill activity, help where I can.
I am 600 Enchanting and 600 Engineering. Both useful for raiding and guild.
I am an adult with a mature attitude, who doesn't get into drama, doesn't do bullshit (pardon my french) and acts accordingly to the situation, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun!
And I am NOT a casual gamer.

We will expect to see you on Monday evening, then. Araun will be doing his interviews at that time, so you should make sure that you are available.
And I am NOT a casual gamer.
This stuck out to me. Could you elaborate? There is a very broad spectrum of players and I would just like some more info in that regard.
