Grim Application For Lunataure

How did you hear about The Grim?
I have had friends in the Grim over the years but my daughter joined and has been trying to coax to join her

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
I have a lot experience with forums and tend to check them very frequently

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I was a part of Amangur Empire back when they were role play but it has been years since I role played so I would consider myself a beginner again

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
Yes

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
The first guild I was ever in was Amangur Empire on Twisting Nether and eventual became the guild master. We had progressed to 25 man raiding about the middle of Burning Crusade and around the time of Ullduar a group of our raiders decided they wanted faster progression so a large percentage of our raiders left to join a more progressed guild. Once Amangur had mostly dissolved I was briefly a part of Ebon Guard. I eventually decided to faction change and move the guild to Kirin Tor a server that I had played on briefly and they my daughter knew many people. I have been playing on Kirin Tor as alliance since the start of Firelands. Recently old friends on Twisting Nether prompted me to level a character so I could raid with them. They know I am an experienced raider and can tank, heal or dps with absolute focus and expertise on a wide range of classes. Unfortunately my old guild mates were in For Science and when the guild split both of them got offers to join their raiding group and myself, husband and other good friend who had all taken up their challenge to become raid ready and join them found ourselves abandoned. My old guild mates are the type that like to conquer the challenge quick and gain bragging rights and I personally enjoy the adventure of the quest and the companionship along the way.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
My main has changed several times because I enjoy leveling characters and gearing them and I tend to play what is needed by the guild. My main for a very long time was Lunafreya the priest but am not enjoying the play of a priest at the moment. I am not sure this hunter will be my main either because I have not felt out the guild and the guilds needs yet. I have a veritable stable of classes and characters to play and would be more than happy to fill a niche in the guild with one of them.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
More than anything I just enjoy the companionship that you find in friendly active guilds. I am a very experienced raider but I also enjoy simple things like group questing or pvp. I suspect I will need to brush up on my RP.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
These are the class/specs I have raided as
Holy Priest (Vanilla-Burning Crusade)
Prot Pally (End of Crusade through ICC)
Resto Druid (Mid Wrath - today)
Rogue (Cataclysm and gained legendary daggers)
Hunter (Vanilla - today but find that I am usually needed as a healer or tank instead so I don't get to play her much)
Resto/Enhance Shaman (Wrath - Cataclysm)
DK dps (Wrath - Cataclysm) I initially wanted to try tanking on this character but found dk tanking clunky compared to Paladin
Mage (Burning Crusade - today) Caster dps is a bit boring for my tastes

Wow is the only MMO that I have really played.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
Typically I like to heal in a pvp environment I have the most experience as a paladin and druid but did a bit of pvp on my resto shammy

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
I have a very flexible schedule during the week but I like to go out on the weekends so they are hit or miss for me. I can make both of those times.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
I have decent computer and usually average about 60 fps. We have a stable internet connection as it is required for my work.

Provide an armory link to your character.

Do you have anything further to add?
If you allow me to join your ranks my husband and good friend will also be applying. They are both experienced raiders and my friend is a long time RPer who has a long history with FF and other MMO games.

I will be available at the normal time this evening to conduct your interview if you're around. That said, it's New Year's Eve, so I won't be too insulted if you have something better to do tonight. ;)

Sorry I always throw a new years eve party so I was busy all day yesterday. I am terrible with names so I can't remember the names but I used to know a number of Grim members and being on the server for so long I am sure some will remember me if nothing else but for the GDKP I used to run during ICC. I am sure I will not be known for my RP.. /ashamed
