Grim Application For Ayemae
How did you hear about The Grim?
-Addikus approached us about joining, though I have seen the guild around for quite a few years.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
-I have used Forums on and off over the years. I tend to check them often, though comment little.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I could only aspire to be like the late master Gygax... I would say I am experienced, but we all have learning to do. I would say I am mediocre.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-I love playing alignments of all sorts, this one was specifically designed to be evil. If everyone is a goody two shoes, the would would be quite dull indeed! I happen to be a huge fan of Drow Society myself... or dark elves for you warhammer fans.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-I have played since Vanilla launch. I have been on quite a few servers.. Dunemaul was my first. Emerald Dream, Lightninghoof, Twisting Nether.. and a few others. I have seen guilds be created and collapse into nothing.. splinter into fragments and merge into monsters. I have occasionally 'taken breaks' from wow to come back to nothingness, or found the small guild I was once in now thriving but doesn't remember me anymore.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-I would call this character alt'ish... As I just returned to wow after a 2 year 'break' I haven't decided who my 'main' is going to be yet. Ayemae, Aeliera, Tribble, Lavinny, Maiuna, and Squizzle are all enjoyable to play. I admit that I do have two Alliance characters on this server, Eliiandra and Nerinae. Elii was my first character ever.. Nov 21, 2004.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
-I really want a good RP guild who also enjoys PVE.. though I have been known to enjoy PVP immensely at times.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-I enjoy healing and tanking. It gives me a Vital Feeling that DPS just doesn't usually deliver on. at least.. until i'm solo. ^_~ Other MMO's i've played are Ragnarok Online, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, Star wars TOR, Star Trek, Tera, Aion, Rift, maple story, Guild Wars 2, Dark Ages of Camelot, uhm... there are so many that i"ve tried and I always end up returning to wow.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-I prefer Open World PVP and miss the early Days of Alterac Valley and the epic 3 and 4 week long battles that ran on and on. I LOVED the pvp system of Guild Wars 2, but it was rather lackluster on PVE. PVP in RO was fun, but way too gear based. I enjoy the chaos of the moment and the thrill of the hunt. I've done some arenas from Seasons 1 and 2, but little after that... it got a bit redundant. However my 4 hour long resto druid versus (this priest as holy) in season two will go down as my personal favorite battle. It was a 2v2 and the rogue and my warlock companion killed each other within the first 30 seconds. The healing battle that ensued was epic.. and my win did illicit a victory dance around my house that is still practice at random intervals today. Never give up.. never surrender! I feel like the newer players give up waaaay too easily and have no idea of what it was like to wipe in MC for 13 hours only to get 3 epics split between 40 ppl and be willing to come back again and again for weeks on end. Sadly.. in the PVP world... my grind to grand marshal was cut short by Hurricane Katrina, but I do still have my First Sergeant title.
What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
-I am a stagehand. That being said, my schedule changes daily and on a whim depending on what 'gigs' are in town. I generally have Sundays and Mondays off.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-I have the best high speed cable offered in my area and my computer plays on Ultra settings at all game times.. even in that Orgrimmar raid we had tonight without any hiccups.
Provide an armory link to your character.
-oh.. this is gonna sting... please be gentle...

Do you have anything further to add?
-uhm... probably.. but not that I can think of at this present moment....
