How did you hear about The Grim?
- I've been on TN since vanilla. Hard not to have. I also think I've killed and been killed by a fair number of them
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
- Extensive - I used to check them obsessively when I had a desk job, but I still try to check them once or twice a day.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- A good bit. Been a roleplayer in wow since vanilla, also in the past in EVE Online and City of Heroes
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
- I have less experience playing an evil aligned character, which is one of the things that I"m looking forward to. Playing a character outside of my comfort zone tends to challenge me more literarily.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
- Lessee... Swordwaltzers, Tirisfalen, The Ebon Banner and The Sword of the Morning. All great guilds, only reason I've ever really jumped is each one got consecutively absorbed into the following one. Still playing in SotM alliance side, currently functioning in GM capacity of that guild. Mahj is currently in a dead guild that I never really knew that well since I didn't play him much at the time, so it's hard to describe my experience there.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
- Yes. Mainly a different RP angle and experience than I get while playing my goody two-shoes alliance characters. *grin* And any old hands around here would know me as Sylennis or Folvelor (briefly known as Grayslin during cata)
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
- I generally enjoy both pvp and pve. In the past it's been PvE traditionally, but lately I've been much more into PvP, which is probably what I'll end up doing here.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
- I love tanking on my death knight and I also enjoy both DK and Rogue DPS. I generally get the most fun out of 10 man content.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
- MOstly world PvP and Battlegrounds, though lately I've been doing more arena in 2's. I usually like to smash faces in PvP, but I'm thinking about trying PvP healing this time around.
What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
- Most evenings after 6ish server and various time during the weekend. As RL is wont to do, sometimes I have plans, but you can assume I'm "generally" available during those times.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
- Generally around 30-40 FPS in most situations, though I do get some slowdown around high pop areas. Connection is generally pretty reliable.

- While I do generally play alliance-side, I would like to have a more fulfilling horde-side experience, which I think I can get with the Grim. I don't want anyone to think I'm just trying to spy on the other side; I'm strictly against any kind of metagaming like that.
Plus, there are grim alts skulking around in my guild so fair's fair. :) (Yes, that's a joke)

There will not be any interviews on Monday, Christmas Eve. I will be around on Wednesday morning at the usual time, or on Thursday evening after 10:30 if you're available then.
If you can't make either of those times, then interview times will resume their normal times the next week. Although, Monday is New Year's Eve as well, so plans may change.
