How did you hear about The Grim?
- Through in-real life friends, who I've been gaming with (both on WoW and other places) for years.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
- Frequently and masterful. I`m a gamer, mainly in the fighting game community. Thus the main way to learn and come across new tech, and announce news is through forums. I can`t even begin to count how many I am a part of.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I`ve been rolplaying since 1995. I have a bit of history under my belt.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
- I can play Evil as well as Good. My characters, unless created for a specific purpose, have a 'go with the flow' mentality and adjust as the situation deems fit.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
- I was an active and long-term member of Zodiac on KT. An officer and class leader since when Karazhan was progression content. I learned a great deal with them and how this game was played. The guild unfortunately died at the beginning of Pandaria, and rather than stay in an inactive guild with no hope of revival, I opted to come play with my aforementioned friends here on this server.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
- This is my main.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
- Raiding, gaming, something to do. I enjoy seeing new content and experiencing what Blizzard throws into the pot, then engaging in it. Plus some roleplay on the side.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
- I've been a main tank since Karazhan, having been a part of a guild which were consistently ranked 1-2 and gathering quite a few "server firsts" in their prime. That's been my primary role. I've also played both a mage and shaman to take on a DPS approach. I have never healed because I don't enjoy doing it.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
- I was not on a PVP server prior, so my experience was minuscule outside of guild-run battlegrounds. It's fun but I'd be using a much different character to engage in heavy PVP. Mainly a rogue or mage.
I dabbled in League of Legends for about a week, which would be my only other PVP experience.
What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
- Typically in the evenings I play moreso, but I can be available in the mornings until something else gets in the way. I can make either of those times.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
- 100+ fps out in the world (not that anything over 60 matters), 50-60fps in occupied towns, 40-50fps in 10m raids, 25-30fps in 25m raids, and a partridge in a pear tree. And yeah, it's stable.
