Grim Application For Valindria -

How did you hear about The Grim?
My sister and brother-in-law, as well as several RL friends play here.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
My experience is extensive. I have owned/moderated a few. When I am not the owner/moderator, I check them as needed, or when there's activity.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I have been RPing since 1995. I am not Gary Gygax.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
I tend to play more Neutral characters. I do understand the alignment structure.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
I was an officer/banker/Vent admin for Crimson Brotherhood on Maelstrom, and their core raid priest. I left due to lack of activity after around a year.
I was lately an officer/banker for Sleep Walkers on Maelstrom, and slated to be their core raid priest. I left them due to lack of activity, and because I moved here.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
I am a raid healer, completing content is my main goal. I enjoy questing and collection of mounts, pets, and achievements.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
I have been playing MMOs since 1999, with the original EQ; which I played for four years. I played EQ2 for four years. I played DAoC for a year. I have played WoW for five. Other titles less popular and less time.

I enjoy healing, I dislike tanking.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
I do not PVP with my priest. I have a rogue for that.

I did not focus on PVP content in previous games.

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
I live in PST. My play schedule is nearly daily, around 5pm to 10pm roughly. I am unable to raid on Wednesdays until after 7:30pm or so. I am unavailable on Saturdays.

Given the choice, I would opt for Monday evening; but Wednesday morning is possible. I need at least 24 hours notice, this enables me to tell you if I can be there.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
My internet connection is stable. My machine records 60fps in calm areas and 30fps in the center of Orgrimmar.

Trust me, we are working on it! Will be tearing her through heroics this week as well. The tank coming needs plate crafted bad, and also will be getting some runs.

Pretty sure she already has all the tailor crafted gear she can get. There are a couple pieces in the guild bank as well. She just needs some runs to gear up.
