Grim Application For Kabocho
How did you hear about The Grim?
- I first saw members of The Grim near the battlemasters in Shattrath, during Burning Crusade and have Rp-ed with many members since then.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
- I’m a member of several forums, including TNG. I check them regularly.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I’d say I am an experienced role-player. I’ve played since launch, and have always embraced RP. I transferred my first character to an RP-PVP server when they were first implemented.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
- I’ve played many characters that have a harsh demeanor and a strong loyalty to their ideals.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
- I’ve been in several Rp guilds on Twisting Nether. I think it is important for there to be a variety of Rp guilds on the server and I appreciate the working relationship The Grim and Dragonhawk Brigade maintain. I am interested in a more militant (PvP-focused) guild for this character.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
- This character is currently an alt, but I have a feeling he’s on his way to becoming my main. My main is Gorvi of Dragonhawk Brigade. I think the attitude of The Grim will suit this character best.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
- I’m pretty casual when it comes to PvE. I’ll run dungeons to level and farm Justice Points, but I’d rather do a battleground. I’ve really only experienced raids after the fact, not when the content is current. I’ve only played DPS characters in raid settings.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
- I’ve PvPed since launch, back when hunters couldn’t drop traps in combat. I tend to enjoy DPS classes in PvP, (specifically warrior, rogue, death knight) but Mistweaver healing is vary dynamic and exciting. I’ve PvPed in recent MMOs like Rift and TOR. Prior to WoW, I played Shadowbane, which was essentially all PvP.
What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime," "flexible," or some other vague word please describe why.
- Generally, I play afternoons and evenings. I play more on the weekends than I do during the week, but I log on long enough to do a couple of battlegrounds everyday.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
- 40 fps. My computer handles high population times well and load times are a few seconds. I have a stable internet connection.
Provide an armory link to your character.

Do you have anything further to add?
- I’ve always enjoyed The Grim from afar. I’ve met many members through casual RP, joint guild events, and world PvP. I feel like The Grim promotes variety in the RP community and I’d like to be a part of it.
