(IC) What name or title do you go by?
Priestess Lyanielle Kevaydar
(IC) What is your gender and race?
I am a Female Sindo'rei
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
I am a Priestess of the Light, i choose this path because of my first husband, a human. Mock as you will, times were different then, if a human came up to me now with the same concept, i'd sooner gut them. I had a near death experience when i was quite young, and it led to me being brought to a small church, there i met Adam Jounsgten, a human priest, who tended to my wounds, and taught me everything i know about the Light, he..*Lyan turns away for a second to wipe away a tear* He died, because of another human, a rogue, who came in the night to rob the church. Perhaps it was at that point, that i should have run back to my people, but i didn't, i took up his staff, and his holy symbol and i carried it, i still do to this day, it is a reminder to me of how the Light truly is.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
I do not currently have many kills under my belt, only about four hundred and thirty seven, i generally tend to stick to healing the wounded, even though i myself am quite adept with powers of Shadow, i would more than likely assist a fellow member of the horde so that they may strike down more alliance filth.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
I am driven by the Light, i seek to empower those that the Light chooses as its worthy champions, and smite down those that would attack said champions. I used to believe those that wielded the Light more, the humans, the dwarves, that they were worthy, but now i see they hide their true selves from the light, i wish to make it so they are forced to meet their makers, to atone for their sins, each and everyone blasted one of them. The Grim can benefit by my healing prowreses, i am fairly adept in the methods of quickly healing wounds for combat, i have served many battles, and i am not afraid of much.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
Prior to this day? well i did used to work for the Argents, i still hold a small place in their ranks from my time there, not as a peacekeeper, but as a healer for the soldiers fighting the Lich King, during the Northrend campaigns. After that i sought my fortune with the Dragonhawk Brigade, but due to their political bantering, i decided to leave their ranks, in favor of a group that is more, how to put it..Action ready.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
While at first, i was Apprehensive of Garrosh's methods, after hearing of the events in the Stonetalon peaks, and his desire for only honorable deaths, i changed my mind quite quickly, i now serve his will with a proudness to be horde.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
This means i am going to enjoy pushing my own mental abilities with the concepts and ideas of fully fleshing out Lyan as a character, and that i will quite enjoy playing with many of the members therein.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to
play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
This Definition of lawful evil, does not really conflict with lyan's personality, a small portion of her backstory here to explain this; "After her imprisonment by the humans of Lorederon whom she once served, her attitude towards them changed drastically, the allies she once saw, the friends and family she once had, they had shown her their teeth, and like dogs had bitten the hands of their, now former friend, she would give them no mercy, it was fair, they gave her none."
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I honestly could not put myself on the same level of Mr. Gygax, even though i an no beginner, i feel i am fairly good at least, my friends say i am fantastic at creating characters and scenarios that seem near perfect, but again, i hold Mr. Gygax in a much higher respect than myself, for he has actually done things, big things, that actually affected the entire gaming community. I've done a lot of role playing before, D&D at least 9 campaigns, and 3 of those the GM forced us to be IC the entire session.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
My previous server was Farstriders, and i left because i found very little serious roleplaying going on.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I am looking for companionship in Roleplay, i seek equal minded players interested in playing the game as the characters they are, WITH all consequences of their actions fully fleshed out and realized, I expect everyone to act civilly. I fully desire to see many places for my character to join into, many spots in RP that i can hop in to join up, and a good number of events i can join.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Ashenfury.
I am available on:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. - 1 p.m.
Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays i am generally available from 10 a.m. - 1 a.m.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.
