Name is Kumai.

I am female orc.

(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?

I am mage. Reasons are not easy. I am blessed and cursed by elements, by spirits, by demons. This path is my fate.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?

None. Yet. Little blood. No witnesses. Soon.

(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?

Destruction. I spread my heart fire to the world. I am not strong but I am power in potential. I feel anger. I join my fury to the Grim. Grim storm spreads wildfire. Alliance wrong me. Legion betrays me. I curse them and their children and their children's children. They will know pain.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?

I began as shaman. Calamity. Cataclysm. Fire. I cannot hear my ancestors. Fire steals my voice. Spirits desert me. I find symbols. I was student in places beneath, victim, sacrifice, survivor. Betrayed.

(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?

Garrosh is fury. Thrall knows all elements. Thrall is shaman. Garrosh is true fire. Horde of Garrosh will crush all enemies.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?

I expect an in-character roleplay environment whenever possible, including if not especially PvE and PvP events. I expect an in character standard to be held by the guild in public places. I expect the guild to support the server's roleplay community whenever possible.

(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?

Kumai is capricious but loyal. She may have a strong streak of chaos in her, but she knows the value of rules and control and is unlikely to push boundaries without serious incentive. And evil's not even in question.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

I have plenty. I've surpassed beginner status well enough to want to experiment a little.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?

No.

(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?

I'd like a place to be, a place to roleplay, a place to participate. I want to start slowly and see how things go, working my way gently back into the different facets of this world.

(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Ashenfury.

I cannot do Wednesday afternoons or Sundays. I expect to be only semi-active as I level, but I will hop in to things as I'm available.

IC - I have no voice. I know my letters. I have hand signs. I work flame shapes. I watch. I listen. I search and I find. I can question. I can convince. I can do all things with no voice. No doubts. Peace through Annihilation needs no song.

OOC - The voicelessness is experimental. If it proves too awkward, she'll come across a miracle cure of some sort. But I'm interested in needing to track people down in order to ask for their help, rather than relying on chat functions, and in seeing what kinds of ways I can devise for her to communicate. She will be able to answer yes or no questions with non-verbal sounds.
