(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-I am Liraz Firestrike.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-Female. Sin’dorei.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I am a frostfire mage in battle and I know many useful spells. We Sin’dorei are given a birthright to magic, and I have no intention to neglect my natural ability in the arcane.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
-Once, a young human mage attempted to surprise me, but I was successful in defending myself. Apparently that was noticed and recorded. Most of my training has involved sparring with peers or fighting in groups against a common foe. I do what is necessary for me.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-I can handle any task thrown at me. I am Liraz Firestrike and all will learn my name. By donning the tabard of my coterie, I will instill our names into the hearts and minds of all creatures of Azeroth, whether it be connoted out of fear or pride.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-I have mastered teleportation through space and provide my services to those who have the inability.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
-Throughout the years, Azeroth has become more and more… interesting. Change is just a new chance to become part of greatness.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-I’ve always liked roleplay but just couldn’t get enough… well… activity and immersion. I’ve been in as far as a medium RP guild (IC guild chat, but OOC channel), but all of my guilds that roleplay have been relatively small or nearly inactive, or as with DHB, once you’re accepted… that’s it.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
-My character is chaotic neutral, with the intention on being with the winning team in the end. To me, the idea of “good” and “evil” is very loose in this world. Liraz will do what it takes to be “right” in the end.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I’ve been playing WoW for over a year, but my boyfriend (who got me into the game and with whom I most discuss my roleplay ideas) has been playing since Vanilla. I’ve also played DnD for about a year and I’m starting to learn the other side of the DM screen. I would call myself a moderate roleplayer, with a general but well-rounded understanding of lore. And I can complete sentences! I admit playing a Tauren or Forsaken is easier than correctly playing a Blood Elf, but as Liraz would say, “I can handle it.”
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
-Nope. Started in TN, staying in TN.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-A huge thing I look for in a guild is activity and communication, but an understanding that *real life is more important than WoW* I also look for help when needed and for guild-mates to not be afraid to ask for help or services. It would be nice to get to know people on both a personal level and in character as well.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Ashenfury.
-I am a busy person. Available: Sundays if I’m not doing housework/errands, Mondays after dinner, Thursdays except when called into Job#1 or again housework/errands, Fridays after noon, Saturdays after dinner. And I have a second job that calls me in random times as well.
