(IC) What name or title do you go by? Nalfy Cogglesprocket's the name! ((Nalfy for Armory purposes.))
-

(IC) What is your gender and race? I'm a girl gobber. The adorable nature of my name should tell you that, though.
-

(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class? I'm a shaman, but it's more by accident than intention. I skinned my knee as a baby gobber, and some great big Tauren ghost showed me how to heal it with water from a puddle nearby. I took a liking to that spirit. He was nice.
-

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you? The Battlemasters have me noted with 4,241 kills. I wouldn't call them honorable. People rarely display honor when they get killed what with all that pleading and melodramatic dying. I think the number is higher, m'self.
-

(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks? I'm a gobber in search of a destiny. That's my motivation - find my place in the world and such. Hopefully I get to take part in some fantastic butt kicking along the way, which is where the Grim comes in. When you have a chance to read the letter I sent, it'll make more sense. I keep you in the fight!
-

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim? I'm a freelance gobber. I did a bit of trading, a bit of cheating and a fair amount of dispatching those that I cheated when they came after me. Listen, if you're not smart enough to hang on to your gold without getting swindled out of it, then you don't deserve the gold in the first place. And if violence is your only sense of vindication of being dumb enough to let me make off with your money, then be prepared for my anti-vindication butt kicking! Some of your, uh, 'members' might recognize me, also. I was with Masqueraide in The Dragonhawk Brigade for a spell.
-

(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm? I'm not up on politics, so I'm not sure how I feel about that. Garrosh Hellscream seems to be my kind of orc - a true butt kicker! As I was just saying about gold and what not, if you're not smart enough to concede that the Horde is superior, what good are you? Consider your butt kicked, because it'll be happening soon enough.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you? It means two things for me. First, it's a complete detachment from real life. I work in Human Resources which, for lack of better phrasing, means I have to be boring 40-50 hours a week. HR doesn't have a sense of humor since 99% of jokes that are funny break some policy or another. Second, it means I can immerse myself in a character which I find very appealing on, again, two counts. First, one of my aspirations in life is to write a book. Writing a character while interacting with others is practice as I see it. Second, it's just really, really fun. I'm a guy playing a precocious female goblin teenager because it's fun to act young, flighty, silly, moody...all things teenager. Nalfy started out as a joke that turned into a character I like to use for RP.
-

(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members? The only conflict is that I RP Nalfy to be a not-so-talented "butt kicker," but she enjoys it thoroughly even if she's healing from the sidelines. I'm not the greatest DPSer in the game because I get distracted by the flashing buttons on the priority scale with the new ability procs and such, but I know I'm a good healer, and to some I'm considered a fantastic healer, so I RP Nalfy to my own strengths as a gamer. I am working on an Enhancement set, and at least in PVE I've broken 13k DPS with relatively low iLvL gear. In PVP as a DPS, I have trouble keeping up with all the movement, so again, I RP as a healer because I'm better at it.
-

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax? Who's Gary Gygax? Whoah there, just kidding. Creatively, I'm a very experienced RPer. In practice, I'm probably intermediate. I haven't done much of it in recent years until starting a toon on Twisting Nether, and it tends to be a talent that can be perfected with continued effort.
-

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name? This character is a server transfer from Proudmoore, but I believe I transferred at level 55, so the majority of real experience with a shaman is here on Twisting Nether. I honestly don't remember the name of this toon before the transfer. For a while, it was an orc shaman named Janglur (again on Twisting Nether prior to class changing).
-

(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild? My expectations are neutral. I enjoy WoW because of the people around me in-game. I've RPed a few times with the Grim's members via The Dragonhawk Brigade's guild events, so simply being around like-minded people will be an enjoyable experience for me overall. Also, I pretend to be a master of wit in my former life with leftovers in my current, so the Grim will be a fun place to RP Nalfy to the fullest as a mouthy goblin.
-

(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Qarosimae. My schedule is pretty constant. I log on between 7pm and 8pm ST most nights, log off 2-3 hours later. Times will vary with Daylight Savings in the near future since I'm on Arizona time (MST). Weekends are sporadic; I tend to be on and off throughout Saturday and Sunday, so there's no real 'schedule' to share.
-

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add? Let's kick some butts! Peace through Annihilation! */roar*
