(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Jafylus Joe'luer
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I am a male Sin'dorei.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I work with that which is the essence of greatness, that which sustains me, and gives me what I need for life, for power, and for glory. I work with the arcane itself. I am a mage.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
-I have let 3890 fools pass beyond this simple flesh coil.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- I seek my own comforts. I wish to have them throguh knowledge amassed, wealth gatghered, and fame attained. The grim seek peace...throguh annihilation. I can help them achive this goal, with power.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I travelled as a mercenary with my partner, a dim-witted and insane troll with a ...fondness...for his axe. We made a good share of gold in our travels, and discovered many such repositories of olden lore that I have used to better myself and power. We were mecenaries for hire, and treasure seekers for profit. The dim witted brute has been missing for years now, and I do miss him. I have decided to once more follow our old path, and I remember his talks of the glory of the Grim, and thus, I have come to seek your out. And perhaps continue on my journey to find that fool and his axe again.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
- pah, the horde can have its ways. I seek glory, fear and power.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-Fun. Full RP in guild, staying in character, and enjoying one's self.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
-It really does not. It would mainly line up almost perfectly with my character. This elf thinks way above himself, but then again, don't most of them? But he always wishes to amass his own fortunes and power, while still holding onto some semblance of what he perceives to be his own honor. He would fit in well with the guild.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I have table tops over the years, as well as RP in WoW and a few games. While not a master, I feel I can hold my own. So....intermediate.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
-This character has just transferred over from Archimonde. I wanted to RP, but still play end game content and enjoy myself, and I thoguht this would be the best place to do so.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Simple. To have fun. I love this game, and the RP element in a full RP guild can only add to that, and bring back an immersion I have not had with the game in a long while.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Thalevia.
- Weekdays, I work a usual daytime job, so i am free every evening after about 5. Weekends, anytime, unless I am out of town doing some vacation or whatnot.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
"Peace through Annihilation."
- ((OOC)) This may work for me, or against me, but here it is...I actually joined the Grim on my original character back in Vanilla wow. I was in guild for a short while, and had an absolutle blast. The character was named Darjiin, and was a mad troll warrior who talked to his axe... Not sure if there are those around who even remember him. I loved the assaults on alliance town with the guild running instances and guild events.
I loved that guy, though I have not played him in a long long while. I may end up bringing him over to the server as a warrior (he is a retired 75 alt right now), or re-rolling him as a DeathKnight to RP with (there would be fun possibilities there for me, so I am considering it at a later date for an alt).
I was removed from the guild to look to end game raid other places, and left the server as well. I hope that does not count against me, but I do understand if it does.
his toon I am applying with, I want to RP as a partner of that troll, and I would like to build his story off from there.

Re: Jafylas
A mage that cannot read. Feh. I am unimpressed.

Seek out an inquisitor.

Re: Jafylas
I have tried...multiple times. Seems as though finding one is a much more difficult prospect than originally anticipated....
Re: Jafylas
This one tried to speak with me but I was pulled away. He shows diligence and that at least should be rewarded.
