(IC) What name or title do you go by?
Caspryn Zeeblebrix IV, also known as Caspryn the Intelligent, Caspryn the Magnificent or Caspryn the Fabulous. Caspryn the Overly-talented-and-unabashedly-gorgeous is also acceptable.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
The only race worthy of managing the Azeroth Trade Market, I am proudly Goblin. My ears are also much too beautiful to be anything but female.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
I am the greatest of all classes, as I can twist the arcane to my every whim. Need food? I can conjure cake for you. Need a ride? I can portal you to any major city you wish to go. Need gold? I can convince you to part with your every last penny in exchange for one of my useless--I mean, my very useful wares.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
Define “honorable”…? According to the Battlemasters in Orgrimmar, I’ve apparently tallied a total of 2,356 kills. You know, I could’ve sworn it was more than that… do those Orcs even know how to count?
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
Gold. Sometimes greed, a bit of guilt I suppose, but mostly driven by gold. Who wouldn’t want to roll around in all that shiny? The Grim would find its coffers filling under my expert manipulation of the open market. If gold is not enough to convince you, perhaps if I wiggle my fingers and cast a spell…
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
My past is best left as it is – the past. I am now, as protected by Rohku. The source of my origin is no secret; yes I am one of many “lovechildren” born in the Red Light District of the Undermine. I find no shame in admitting it. The rest… well if I told you I’d have to kill you. No really, I would have to.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
It fills my pockets with coin; therefore I have no comment regarding this “new direction”. People continue their constant demands for merchandise and I eagerly continue parting them with their gold. “Give me control of Azeroth’s gold supply, and I care not who makes its laws.” ~ Castiele Zeeblebrix III
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
It means a fabulous opportunity to finally return to Heavy-RP. I’m tired of guilds that advertise as “RP” but engage in no actual RP activity.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
Caspryn Zeeblebrix would be more Neutral Evil, but given the direction of The Grim I’m sure she can find time to tidy her bad habits. Honor, trustworthiness and reliability have never been an issue. Obedience to authority however… it will be a fatal flaw she will have to work on.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I wear my lucky d20 die on a necklace. My arena team was “Natural Twenty” for 3 seasons. My first WoW experience ever was on a Role-Playing server. While I’m no Gary Gygax, I am a big fan of his (may he rest in peace).
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
Recent transfer from Emerald Dream, formerly of Bleeding Hollow, and previously known as “Penello”. The mage was an alt I dusted off recently and turned into my Main – she has no previous accomplishments that I can brag of.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
As a Lawful Evil guild, I hope to find exactly that. My only expectations of the guild are a source of good RP. Admittedly, my character is rather ostentatious, egotistical, and a general pain-in-the-ass. But her heart is in the right place, I promise.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Thalevia.
I’m a slave to work hours like every other office worker out there. 7pm – 10pm is my usual availability, subject to change depending on my on-call hours.
