I go by my birth name of Deyndrine.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
I am a Blood Elf. I am male.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
I have chosen the arcane school of magic mostly, although I dabble a little in pyrotechnics. I followed the arcane school because it was the easiest for me to pick up and learn at an early age. I eventually learned my fire skills simply because I love watching things burn. Houses, farms, Alliance...you name it, I think it looks beautiful engulfed in flames. Mind you, that is the ONLY time Alliance will be beautiful...is when my fire has consumed their flesh.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
Simply put, I am gorgeous.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
Not near enough. I believe I have only slayed roughly 100 Alliance.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
Beauty, my friends. The Grim will benefit from having me by having one of the most gorgeous creatures in Azeroth.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
I killed, albeit a rather lonely kind of killing, but killing none the less.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
A pact!? Ha! *whispering quietly* I never honored it. *speaking in a normal tone now* Now that we are at war again, I will honor the Warchief and do what I must to contribute to the ridding of Alliance. Such ugly creatures, they are.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
It means I get to role-play!! Seriously though, it means RP all the time.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
Deyndrine just wants to kill and watch the Alliance burn, literally.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I have some experience both online and offline, although the offline doesn't get shared with anyone. ;)
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
All of the above, save the different faction. I've never played Alliance.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
Neither. He's had his name since creation on Twisting Nether.
(OOC) Is this an alt of a current full Grim member? If so, what full member?
He is an alt of Deminthus.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I'm looking for my mage to be my PvE toon with some PvP sprinkled in there just because I can't get enough of it.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Xondor.
Pretty much anytime after 5pm server and all day on the weekends. I might not be on during those times, but if something is scheduled I can definitely make it.
