My name is Swifthoof but everone calls me Swifty. I fear it may be because I'm not.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- Tauren male.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- I'm a healer, always have been, always will be. That is my calling.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- Old,very old; I'm very loyal and I like a peaceful life outside of the war and raiding. I am good at following orders and will do my best. I hate arguments and drama. I can wipe all night raiding, as people learn a fight, but I can't stand 5 minutes of bickering over whose fault it was. Respect your leaders, respect yourself!
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- 12894
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- I am a very laid back character quite happy to serve whenever asked. I am not so preoccupied with my own business that I cannot set it aside for guild business, nor am I bothered if asked to step aside for a better person if they would further the cause better than I.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I was a member of Citadel, for about 3 years before it disbanded. Since then I have not found a guild that met my needs.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- What pact? No warchief would make a pact like that, it is a trick, and I refuse to acknowledge it. We cannot set aside their attrocities and humiliations, because they are suddenly scared of us. The alliance are scum. I hate them. I really really hate them. (really!).
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- I like this. I play the game to escape from real life, not to share everybody else's real-life problems. Now if you have a gnome infestation, I am your Tauren!
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- I'm not sure I see myself a evil just because I want to kill alliance. I will give quarter and respect honor, if I ever meet an alliance that deserves it (none so far - 5 1/2 years and counting)
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I have been playing role playing games since the pen and paper days, however I have been Swifty for so long, I'm not sure where the roleplaying stops. I have a feeling I am turning into Swifty in real life.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- Just made it through the first level raiding on each expansion from release. Cleared MC/AQ20/ZG in Vanilla. Cleared Kara/ZA in TBC. Did Nax in WotLK.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- no
(OOC) Is this an alt of a current full Grim member? If so, what full member?
- New Application - I do have a band of Alts (Gudveir, Zinga, Jamjar, Arrowheart, Xencat) all 80s. They are all professions except engineering. They keep me enchanted, gemmed, glyphed etc.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- No expectations, just looking for a place to hang my hat and I'm getting a little tired of PUGs. Expansions can be hard on PUGs.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Xondor.
- I play mostly week-ends and evenings. I get on usually about 7pm server until I cant keep my eyes open at about 12 server.

- Not a lot, although I'm hoping that peace through annihilation, means that we don't annihilate ourselves, and it is the Alliance you are talking about. If you start handing out colored candy juice, I'm out.

As I often tell my charges, patience is important, and care to detail. Sad to say, I failed to practice what I preach. I believe I have corrected my error. My enthusiasm to go into the world and kill Alliance, rather than put pen to paper, is my only excuse.
