- Mauguin
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I am a male Forsaken.
(IC) What is your class? Why?
- I am a mage, by profession. Being always interested in the arcane arts, became the only path for me to take to serve The Dark Lady.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I was once human, living in brill and studying arcane arts, that is before plague took me. I tend to not care for things that don't concern me or my companions. A swift fireball solves most problems.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- Last time I spoke to the Battlemasters, they told me I've slain 12358.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why does it take you to The Grim?
- Perfection of my arcane arts and the death of my enemies, which is to say, life it self. For a period of time I followed The Mandate. But then it seems something drove me into insanity. I left The Grim and The Mandate to travel and search for my purpose. But within my last years of traveling I've realized that the world is a dangerous place and The Mandate, that used to guide me towards my goals will guide me again. That is if it would accept me back. This is what brought me back to The Grim and The Mandate it self.
(IC) What did you do prior to applying to The Grim? What brought you to us?
- What I did in my travels is meaningless, It was sort of a daze. No goals, no path to travel. It was abyss. Remembering The Mandate made me remember of when "living" for something was worth it.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- A pact, if you would call it, does not concern me. It is not something I depend on. Be it Horde or Alliance that stand in my path all will be reduced to ashes.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion of their members to be their characters. How do you define role-playing?
- I define role-playing as expressing your "other" self though your character. I am taking the role of another person. Thinking of what they would do in different situations and acting on them.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- My character is mad. All he wants is to practice his arcane arts, and slay all that stand in his way. He only cares for him self and his companions. My character began his training with The Grim, so I kind of mix into the storyline with Grim Mandate. There isn't really any conflict of the way I want to play and the theme of The Grim.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I've been doing table top Dungeons and Dragons for about 5 years. I've done some RP in World of Warcraft, most of it when i was part of The Grim. I'm in no way Gary Gygax, but i'm still learning
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? What type? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers)
- I've played WoW since pre BC, doing Molten Core with The Grim. Once BC came out, i've raided and completed every instance and raid in the expension. Except for killing Kil'Jaeden. I PvP when I can, I don't really have any "great" accomplishments such as Gladiator title, but I like to think of my self as a above average PvPer.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- This character has never been transferred or renamed.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- I'm looking for a guild that doesn't just sit and RP's. But actually a guild that take RP to the next level, as well as some PvP and PvE. I hope for a guild that would give me sanctuary from the trolling /2 (trade) chat.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
- Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 9am - Whenever.
- Friday 9am - 6pm
- Saturday 6pm - Whenever.
- Sunday Anytime.
