(IC) What name or title do you go by?

My name is Eclypse. They call me the Explorer for I have set foot in all regions in my fight against the Scourge and he who is known as the Lich King.

(IC) What is your gender and race?

I am a female Blood Elf from the House of Ithlan in Quel'Thalas, before it was destroyed in the Third War.

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?

Born the younger of twins, my sister was deemed first in line to follow the path of Mage as my Father had done before her. As such, the task and pleasure of becoming Priest fell to me. I followed in the path of Holiness that my mother took until the Scourge wiped out our town, killing both my parents. It is then I took up the blade and swore vengeance through the Shadow arts.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?

My rage seethes within at the death of my parents, and my sister who died in battle against the Scourge. Pensive, quiet, I am full of honor, respect and a burning need to wipe every Scourge and Alliance from the face of Azeroth.

My hate of the Alliance is personal. An Alliance force was camped outside our town the day of the attack. Rather than aid us, they ran like dogs, tails forced between their legs, their noses buried in the dirt to hide from the stench of the bodies burning and the Scourge filth.


(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?

The records of battle show a total of 801 Honorable kills. A small amount, but each died at the curse of my blood rage. While boasting is not in my nature, it was a milestone for me to recently defeat a well geared, high level Shaman when ambushed in the wilds of Icecrown.


(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?

A solitary warrior was my path to the age of 80. It was then that my journey led me to the frozen desolation known as Icecrown. As my eyes fell upon the vast fields of Scourge and damned souls, it became apparent in my heart that to fight this battle to its fullest, I must seek allies of the same accord as myself. For in the strength off allegiance can the battles, and eventually the war, be won.

My mind wandered back to a Mage, Frygyd, who spoke of a group and their cause. Her words echoed in my mind, reached down to my heart, and I began my search for the great Grim of which she spoke.

I seek allegiance to the Grim to strengthen my abilities, and usefulness in the cause against the Lich King and his minions. To aid the Grim and it’s Mandate with my blood and my life.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?

Along my journey, minor allegiances were made, many solitary quests achieved, and fights waged. Alas, those allegiances proved to be more dalliances in futility as I have found some to only fight with half their heart, and many to enjoy the warmth of the pub and its intoxicating brews to be more to their liking. Many regale in tales of the fight, but do not feel the need to follow the call.


(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?

While pacts may lead to a gain in the goal, they must be pacts of action not politics. Politics on its own is talk. Talk is not action. I seek action against the cause. Not politics.


(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?

Heavy role play to me is digging deep within oneself to find the core of what one is or wishes to be. To say “It is just a characterâ€
