(IC) What name or title do you go by?
          Sagen "Last Will" Dawnbreaker

(IC) What is your gender and race?
          Male, Blood Elf.

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
*He is hesitant to answer* ...Death Knight...it was not my choice....

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
            Cold. Vicious. Merciless.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
1,142 lives. More will soon...be added.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
One more life taker never hurt...anyone.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
Helped form the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Other than that, isn't much of your business.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
The more Alliance emissaries that come traipsing into my cities will be...rather brutally slaughtered. Thrall has lost his vision and sits upon a throne, the cowards way. The Alliance are nothing without The Silver Hand and Uther. It is a sinking ship, which continues to still try and expand its borders into Northrend. Though it severely ... angers me, it is rather funny to watch the Alliance roar battle cries to some child king..

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
              Less stupid chat.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
It is compatible. As long as you don't ask questions, we have no problems. I expect to kill Alliance.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
          I have lots.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
BC raiding, 26k HKs on Maelstrom. Other characters on other servers. Lots of guilds. Never once Alliance.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
          No.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
To kill Alliance without PplZ@ WOh Tlk LYKe D1s

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Nymare.
One week with a terrible computer, one week with a good computer.

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
"I'm moving and not moving at all. I'm the moon underneath the waves that ever go on rolling and rocking. It is not, 'I am doing this,' but rather, an inner realization that 'this is happening through me,' or 'it is doing this for me.' The consciousness of self is the greatest hinderance to the proper execution of all physical action."

To claim that the answer to a question asked - for the purposes of determining if I take the time to hear you further or not - "isn't much of your business" is failure or, at the very least, a sign of one's unwillingness to follow simple instructions.  This is uninspiring.

Considering that this application is incomplete, perhaps unwillingness isn't the reason, hm?

You are Sin'Dorei.  Or you were.  I believe you can do better than this.  Do not prove me wrong.

High Inquisitor of The Grim

P.S. Perhaps ask your brother for help.

"Perhaps ask my brother for help...is she crazy...?"

"After watching my father get torn limb from limb by Arthas himself in the unforgiving continent of Kalimdor, I would be very...surprised...if your willingness to go into detail of gore and filth should not diminish. Would you like to be told how he was shred apart...or perhaps the bile and macabre twitchings of dead kinsmen would further pique your curiosity. ..I am a Death Knight, a taker of lives, but if you wish to delve into my life, feel free....It is nothing but a book with pages to read I suppose, for those who are..'interested?' enough. My brother and I stood side by side, the ones denied by Garithos' cold malevolence. He survived that day, and when he tried to bring me back...the outcome was not good. I was a toy for Arthas, one used to poke and prod until insanity slowly crept in....

But please, poke and prod me some more. I do so thoroughly enjoy it. Enough of my history? Or shall I go in depth of how I slaughtered women and children and laughed about it?" *He reaches for his sword, a pendant of moon dangling from a stained and blood coated chain* "But, I suppose, my dear brother would know so much more...."

Knight -

Do go on, please.

But correct what is missing, first.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
It is good to find a guild that isn't carebear/alliance companionship based. Learning other people's stories and having a small glimpse into their imagination and mind is really interesting to me. It also means that I don't have to worry about who is IC or OOC at any given time, and knowing that RP is continual. This is reassuring.

Respecting elders is key. I hate kids who "omg u has no authoritay ovir me". They should shut up and listen. Lastwill is not a very happy Death Knight. Slaughtering Alliance brutally is one of the few things he takes solace in. This should go hand in hand with The Grim's Mandate. How I want to play him is exactly comparable to others' stories of downright hatred of Alliance. I expect to slay them side by side with others who have respect, honor, integrity...

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
Played D&D at a younger age. Was always lawful evil, or usually something very close to it. I have been in countless guilds that were RP, each time honing my skills as an RPer. I stay completely away from God-moding, and find it rather annoying.  I do also hate the pretentious snobby elves, the ones always crisp and clean, and can figure in my problems with people into good RP. I am in RL respectful to my elders, and I RP my character as thus. I am not some upstart kid in either, and I do not expect others to act that way.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?

"And above all, Peace Through Annihilation."

((Hope that's what you meant. -LW))
