(IC) What name or title do you go by?

*grunts* Rogar Bonesmasher

(IC) What is your gender and race?

Male, Orc

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?

*looks disgusted* Death Knight, I did not choose this life. I have been cursed with it, I was once a noble warrior loyal to the Warchief Thrall.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?

In my previous life, I was a typical Orc, lived for battle and fought for honor. Crushed the Alliance and quick to draw my blade for the Horde. Now, I live a life of a slave. Not bound to the Lich King, and brief memories of my previous life. I am filled with anger and want my revenge on the Scourge for the monster they have turned me into. I seek to destroy the Scrourge forces and kill the Lich King. The Alliance are also my enemy, they bred Arthas, and therefore they all must die. Arrogant fools they will be destoryed by the Horde and the Grim!

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?

I have been through many battles in my previous life, as a Death Knight I have been through Azeroth's most dangerous dungeons and through the most hostile Alliance territories looking for my revenge. I do not have an accurate count, but if I had to guess, I would say 1000. I kill Alliance on site, with strength and honor.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?

We Orc's have a saying, "Lok'tar Ogar". Victory or Death in common tongue, this is what drives me to push on through this cursed life of a Death Knight. I will defeat my enemy, however, I cannot do this alone. I believe that The Grim shares my outlook and wants to destroy the Lich King and the Alliance. I have battled at your side in the past and you have many with strong arms and fight with honor.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?

I have been tracking the Lich King and killing his weaker minions. I have been training my skills and been living a normal life of warrior in Azeroth and Outland. Orc's are a very honorable race, we are bred for War. I have not belonged to a clan since my days as a warrior and believe its time to join one and I believe the Grim is my calling.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?

*grunts* Thrall is no fool. This pact was needed for the sake of Azeroth. I do not honor this pact however, the Alliance are my enemy and I will crush them. *grins* Ever hear the scream of a Human with a severed arm? I hate these creatures, they killed my family and I will get my revenge.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?

I have always been very much into the Lore of WoW. Roleplaying I always thought was for nerds, until I tried it and got involved in the community. Roleplaying in my opinion is the best thing to happen to WoW. Not only does roleplaying attract a much more mature and responsible crowd, it makes the game that much more fun and during raids you actually pay attention to WHY you are fighting and what you are fighting for, instead of what gear you will be getting.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of joining us?

I'm a Death Knight :) Death is not my middle name its my first! Haha, my character fits perfectly with the Grim. The only thing I noticed as I was filling out the application. My character is loyal to the Warcheif as well as the Grim, I got the feeling there isn't much respect for him, however I could be wrong. That would be the only conflict.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

I would consider myself a moderate roleplayer, I do have experience in other role playing guilds in other games.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)

Yes, I have 1 other level 80 which I might transfer over as well.
-OS, Naxx *Most Quaters*, VOA, All Heroic Dungeons.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?

Transfered from Wildhammer about 3 weeks ago

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?

Roleplaying, Maturity, Raiding

I would like a to run stuff with you all and upgrade my gear I am dedicated but I like guild related runs rather than pugs.

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Nymare.

I work Monday - Friday 9:00EST-5:00EST Usually play 6-9 EST

I play alot on weekends, Sat and Sunday normally during the day and at Night

Weekdays I play 2-3 hours a night, (I can make myself avaliable for RAIDS and Guild Events Though)

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

At least he appears to have a ready supply of blood and a large brush. And he can follow instructions.

On the contrary, Greebo.  While he caught the one thing most miss on their application, he completely omitted the other thing.

OOC: Nymare, if you are talking about posting in Letters to the Grim as well. I thought that was old information. I can post there as well. Won't post there till I confirm that this is the section I'm missing. I did read through everything, and that is the ONLY thing I could think of that was stated that I omitted.

OOC: I assume thats what I forgot, I have posted in both area's. Please reconsider my application I apologize for the miscommunication.

OOC: I read it, I just thought it was older. First time I've seen a letter of introduction and then an application is all. My fault.

((not a problem.  The last update is posted below the big red letters - so yeah, it was updated recently.  What I did was try to put what Abric had in there originally in a more logical order in response to the number of applications which have gone through here missing the same 1 or 2 things))

(( I do see the updated recently. It was my fault. I have posted in Letters to the Grim earlier today if you haven't already seen it. Sorry for the mix up ))

Thank you High Inquisitor, for this opportunity. May I request a meeting not of this date? I understand the Grim does have the meetings on the 7th day at 8:30. However, with my battles overseas, I will not be able to make this time or it will be very close and I do not want to disrespect you by keeping you waiting. Is it possible to do this for the week after Sir? It would be greatly appreciated.

(( I will be out of town this weekend, next Sunday or whatever time you chose besides that will be perfect. I appreciate it.))

And I'm no Sir.
