As my Comrad and I entered Stonard today after an intense and may I say "Charitable" event in Southshore with our enemy, I ran into a group of Horde, "The Grim"....Not thinking much of it we decided to take along and see where the pack was headed too. After a bit of a journey we learned, and then it hit us.... an invasion and assassination of the King. After this encounter I cannot stop thinking of their Will, Might, and Fierce battle style. Matched quite like mine with their 'Thirst" for Alliance I have come here to share with you what I'd like to call....My Story
(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Qadir
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I am a Male Blood Elf
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- Mage...I was tought at a young age the secrets of magic, and how to hold on to the power and make it my own...
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- Myself....I consider him to be persistent, stubborn, fierce, a will to learn, and a true champion among the ranks. I settle for nothing less then a victory when it comes to battle.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- Many of the people I have known have been menaced, battered or even killed by this Alliance "Filth". My drive is to put an end to every last one of them, and to make sure through my hand, the Alliance are shown who is boss..
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I've been amongst top ranks in many guilds, my journey has not been only one of Alliance encounters, but battles of brute strength and those that have tested my true powers. Taking it upon myself to teach other Mages things that I had only wished I knew when I was learning. The clash between my band of brothers in Fates Hand caused me to break away and take some time trying to find myself. As I currently push through The Secrets of Ulduar on the council of the Annunaki tribe, I feel I can do much more, and have more to offer to a group with similar interests.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- I feel the betrayel was an end to end all. Thrall is a man of great words, but even his thirst could get us into some trouble. I find myself at a loss for words, as no words can be spoken about any kind of 'Co-Operation" with such a low form of life.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- I never got into RP heavy. I have always been a fan of it but with so much leadership and raid responsibilities I have not had time to pursue it. Now I am hoping on it. RP to me is something where I can put myself in my characters shoes, and really get involved with the story.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
- I have such a high thirst for Alliance, I could stay out in the wilderness for weeks, just searching for them. I expect a band of brothers in which we can pursue a massive slaughtering of these fools. Upon joining I hope to have alot of fun, hopefully meet some great people and just see where it takes me. My expectations are never high.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- As I do not have very much experience as a role player, if any at all. I have tried to do my best in this application, and hopefully learn more.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- I have been a Horde forever. I have took part in all Wrath Raids and Instances, Ran many Raids, Led several guilds, Some of my previous, HSM, Fates Hand, Knights of Dawnsend, Annunaki. Along with the PvE Mage Class Lead in KoD and Annu and DPS consultant. I feel that I need to dip into the PvP spectrum a bit more and really see where it can take me. I have a dedicated side project to get a "Paladin" (FoTM Kinda) leveled to 80 which interests me greatly.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- As I said before I never keep high expectations. I enjoy both a relaxed playing atmosphere and a heavy exciting one. I am looking for a great guild that I can play alongside for hopefully a great amount of time.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR send a PM to all (not just one) of the following members: Acherontia, Nymare, Tecunuman
- I play quite a bit. With a son and a full time job I manage to get on usually every weeknight around 6 server and I play on the weekends for a good amount of time.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
- Thankyou very much for taking the time to read my application, sorry if the RP is a bit lame. I hope to be speaking with you guys soon! "Peace through Annihilation."
