(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-I am Atrez, son of Aetryz.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-I am a male Tauren.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I am a Druid. This is not by choice, but by destiny. My path was laid before me by father, and his father before him.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
-I try to keep my horns short and my fur unmatted, as well as try to keep the smell down as much as possible.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-By fang and claw, I seek to purge our lands of all members of the Alliance.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-I currently walk alone, leaderless, and often frowned upon. I have offered my allegiance to no one, until now, which is why I have come to you.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-I believe it was necessary for the battle of Mount Hyjal, but the Scouge is now scattered and limited in strength to where the Horde no longer needs the aid of the Alliance. The idea of a permanent peace with the Alliance makes me ill.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-Great! I think RP adds a whole new aspect to the game that makes it worth playing. I don't think it would take long for me to fit in with my style of RP...(evil grin)
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
-I think my character's storyline fits well, as my character is angry and seeks vengeance from the Alliance. I don't foresee any conflict between my RP style and what I believe the guild's to be. Iexpect the guild is quite clique-ish and that I'll feel like a nobody for quite some time, and since I'm not high level yet, it may be awhile before I can associate much with guildies, but it is my hope that by the time I reach the end-game, I will have befriended most (or all??
) of the guild and will have no problems getting groups for PvP or Raids.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I was in an RP guild in DAoC called Dark Auspices for a long time. I'm afraid I don't know who Gary Gygax is, but I think I'm pretty good at RPing.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-Unfortunately my highest character is a 56 Hunter (well I have a 59 DK too but that doesn't really count) but my Druid is level 36 and that is who my main is going to be.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-Well as I said I just hope to befriend most of the guildies so that by the time I've reached end-game content I can participate in Raids and PvP. I am also very keen on helping guildies (i.e. if someone says they are getting wrecked on a quest step and need help, I will, most of the time, drop whatever I'm doing to go help.)
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR send a PM to all (not just one) of the following members: Acherontia, Nymare, Tecunuman
-My playtime is generally from 3:00pm-3:00am EST (yeah I have a lot of free time)
