(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-My name is Nathielel.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-I am a male blood elf.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I am a Warlock. I chose this class after my addiction to magic grew too strong for normal magic to satisfy. I was once a mage, but after being told about the arcane arts, my love for magic became an addiction that I cannot quit.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
-I was once a happy soul who followed the orders of my superior mages. Once the arcane consumed me, I lost joy in life. I am drove to the points of insanity by the demons that fill my mind.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
-I am driven by my lust for evil magic and need to use it on my hated enemies, the Alliance. Specifically, I desire to destroy the Night Elves above all esle.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-Prior to the Grim, I was a mere warlock going insane due to the demons that rattled my head and the restrictions and limits put on my powers by the weak society that wishes to make peace with the Alliance.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-The Warchief Thrall is a misguided leader. He believes that the Alliance can help us, but he only falls into the trap that they will inevitably betray us. We must do the fighting he is to blind to see is needed.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-To me, this is the only kind of RP. It is not worth it to RP if you do not wish to take it all the way. Personally, the game is not nearly as fun without immersing yourself in this magical world.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
-There is absolutely no difference between how the Grim feels and how my character feels. Each are driven by evil goals and the destruction of the enemy. I could see no more perfect fit for my character than The Grim.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I am not a beginner, but I am still learning more and more about the lore of the world every day through my own personal research. I may ask questions about something every once in a while, but I am for the most part experienced. World of Warcraft is my only RP experience.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-I have little WoW experience when it comes to the higher levels, but I know the basics.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-I am looking for a fun time where I can immerse myself in a different world with other like-minded people. I expect this guild to be one of the best guilds on the server, from what I have heard from others.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
-I read that you only accept characters who are lvl 60 and above. I am a lowbie lvl 14 right now, and I talked to your member Mordria about this. She mentioned a sister guild by the name of Blood Moon Rising. I would like to join this guild so I can obtain the RP experience of The Grim, but I would be in Blood Moon Rising until I gained enough experience to join The Grim. Also, thank you for taking the time to read my application, and I hope you find me worthy of The Grim.
