EDITEDIT: After discussing this with Qabian, I made a few changes to make my character more believable and lore friendly. This is just the appliaction altered as such.

Also, in response to the posts - have you never had another member like that join the Grim?

-----
(IC) What name or title do you go by?
I was born Calixo Dawnstriker, lived as Calestra dej Dynastus. Now, in my second chance at life, I go by Calixo. But call me Cale.

(IC) What is your gender and race?
      I am a female Sin'dorei. A beauty, if I do say so.

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
I lived most of my life as a rogue, though I was born in a magic wielding family. At a young age my brother abandoned me to those who stalked the shadows. Due to many... personal reasons, I've become a Death Knight. As to why I continue to follow this path, do I really have a choice? Besides - the over whelming power is rather addictive.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
Hmm. My best and worst trait is my bluntness. It makes me rather rude, but enlightens many to the truth. I'm a killer - I won't deny it. Actually, it's rather enjoyable. ESPECIALLY as my rune blade devours souls. Mm, tasty. I'm loyal if I want to be, and delight in making trouble for those I don't like.

(IC) What drives you in life?  Why do you want to be Grim?
Drive? I wouldn't say I have /drive/. More like I exist, and thus should DO something with that existence. Like attain more power - that'd be fun. Or... make someone else's life a living hell. Mostly I serve the dej Dynastus House. But that's a hobby now. I'd rather serve something that actually gets me something. Listening to Lysimachus (the House Patron) whine gets a little tiring. The Grim are extremely like minded, and you all seem like a good time.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
I was a rogue, and did rogue stuff. You know, assassination, body guard, theft... You name it. Like I said earlier, I served the dej Dynastus House. They're my family now-a-days, but I know they won't get in the way of me working with the Grim.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
      Uh... what?

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
My ideal guild. That's what it means. Cheesy

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
Cale is what I'd consider chaos-evil, if left to her own devices. She's willing to let others do the thinking while she does the killing, though. She'll do as she's told, unless she thinks it'll be more amusing to harass someone. But she considers all the consequences before she acts. And Cale always acts in her best interest.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
      Who's Gary Gygax?

... Anyway, I've been playing WoW for 18 months or so, and been roleplaying on forums for five years. So I'd consider myself rather good at roleplaying.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
I suck at PvP - I won't lie. It could be I don't do it enough to get better, or I just /suck/. I've raided up to t5, and with this expansion, up to Sapphiron, though I've never downed him. My groups sucked. I have an 80 NE druid on Wyrmrest Accord. I've played on Ravenholdt, Maelstrom, Moonguard, Twisting Nether, and Wyrmest Accord. I've kept this character though for the entirety of my WoW career, though.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I love to rp and I adore raiding. I pretty much look to get through a lot of end game content and have Cale make plenty of... friends.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
No, no, I don't. Actually. HI RETHSIL. And um, I'm sorry for stabbing you that one time.

No drive?  Mere existence?  Loyalty at whim?  A willing, power addicted slave of Arthas?  Completely oblivious to Thrall and Jaina's machinations for peace?  We seem like "a good time"?  Oh... this will be interesting.

I rarely find ignorance, convenience, and the overall disappointment that are her answers thus far... interesting.  If anything, it makes me believe that some elves, living or otherwise, should just stay in Silvermoon and play their games with the guardians instead.

I didn't say her answers were interesting.  Ha!  I was finding interest in... imagined reaction to further questions.  There are other things that hold considerably more interest, though.  That much is certainly true.

Mm... I imagined that reactions and answers to further questions would only be more of what has already been presented.

((Calixo!  The responses are IC, don't worry. :)  You're welcome to respond ICly if you like))

(( Oh. Duh. XD ))

What? You've got a problem? If I do what you tell me to, and I'm useful... And just because I'm not savvy on what's going on in the world! Ha! I just don't /care/. See? But you don't need me to care to be useful. *She nods.*

Wrong.

We aren't asking you to do menial jobs like scrub our floors for us.  The Grim is as dangerous and terrible as we are because we care about the state of the world.  One tauren or orc fighting with us against the Alliance in order to defend his home or his family is worth more to the Grim than twenty hired mercenaries.

If you fight for nothing, then you are nothing as far as the Grim are concerned.  If you do not see or care that the Alliance must be utterly destroyed, then you are of no use to us.

Now, now now! I didn't say /that/, did I?

Of course I care about the state of the world, I just don't pay attention to politics. I look at what's in front of me - not what's being talked about. Isn't that in the Mandate? I have a few people I'd like to protect. Okay, I have one. But I DO want to protect her.

And as for the Alliance? I've spent my entire life - er, I spent my entire life - fighting them. And especially since Wrynn is back. His insults to the Warchief can HARDLY go unpunished. (Though I admit I only know about it because I say it with my own eyes...)

You seem kind of flakey and dramatic, even for an elf.

"Her?"  Who is her--the one you want to protect?

And why did you give up being a rogue?

"Her" is Libelle dej Dynastus. She's my best friend, and is probably the ONLY person to ever like me and know each of my faults at the same time. She's like a little sister to me, and fully accepts me.

As for why I quit being a rogue, that's personal.

*Mordria wanders through the guild hall and notices Nymare and Qabian gathered around the bulliten board. She wanders over and peeks over their shoulders, her eyes widening as she reads the exchanges. She snickers to herself as she walks away.*
