(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Alirah
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- "I am a female sin'dorei."
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- "I have chosen to follow the path of an arcanist; or, better known to others, a mage."
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- "From birth, I have been raised to do as I am asked without question, or any form of hesitation. I will gladly apply this philosophy to serve the Grim, and the Mandate that I have heard quite a bit about. Many would also say that I'm fairly reserved; but I only seek the knowledge to deal with the alliance and seek the true path to peace."
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
- "The history of my people. The alliance shunned us for the help that Kael'thas had sought. I had, for a while, believed that what he had done was right. From the moment that I was aware of his true intentions, I carefully reconsidered my words. I now seek to use what I have learned to rightfully earn what the horde and my people truly deserve. I believe the Grim and the Mandate will be able to help me do as such."
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- "I have done most, if not all of my work, on solo endeavors. I have sought no particular affiliation until now."
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- "Truthfully, he is delaying the inevitable. We are fighting a war on multiple fronts. He does not seem to want to realize this. This is a mistake that he will pay for soon enough, I'm very sure. Many of the horde, as well as the alliance, choose to ignore the said pact and commence their bloodshed. So be it, I will return the favor as the alliance have done to me."
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- IC is IC, and OOC is OOC. A guild that can keep these apart and do so successfully is the kind of guild that I would like to be a part of. Heavy rp, to me, means that staying in character will reward me the best and most enjoyable experience possible. I'm sure I'll be able to find that here.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
- I don't forsee any problems, as I would be happy to adapt my toon to properly serve the guild. I've always wanted to play a character that has a "Grim" mentality. I have most of how I would like to play her set down, but she still has a lot of details I need to fix. But for the most part, I'd say she would be a good fit as she stands.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I'd like to say I'm beyond the beginner stage, but I highly doubt that. I've opened/helped look after some rp forums with friends, which serve mainly as archives now, and stuff for us to look at. We kept this up for about 2-3 years, and has helped enrich my rp experience greatly. I know I have more to learn, and I'm always happy to share what I do know.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- I started out on Illidan with my brother/his real life friends. I rolled a nelf rogue, who got to 70 in about 3-4 months time. Not long after that, I got asked to roll a horde toon, for a change of pace. And that was how my blood elf hunter was born. I made her on Detheroc, where another group of friends had rolled horde toons. After they quit, I transfered to TN. I PvPed regularly on both, and had a taste of PvE on them as well.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- I don't expect much, as I would rather not get my hopes up too quickly. However, I'd love a chance at making some new friends, enjoy PvE content/PvP encounters, and the like. I look forward to being able to do that, and more, as a potential member.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
As of now, my hunter is currently in the Raven Cross. [Some of you may know her as Laras.] I have, however, had recurring thoughts of a /gquit, for reasons that I won't make public. If any officers would like to contact me as to why, you are more than welcome to. I'm not here to start/cause any trouble, I'm here so I can enjoy the game, as I'm sure the rest of you are. Thank you for your time.
