(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Many just call me ‘M’ though my proper name and title is Lower Priestess Marrowen.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- My body is yet female though I find all are the same in the eyes of the Forsaken. As my flesh falls away am I less a woman? Does that mean I am more a man?
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- My class in life? In life I had no class, I sold this female flesh to whomever carried gold. In my afterlife however, I learned a better way. I found the power over myself that I was desperately searching for while I lived. When my body no longer held sway over others, I found my spirit could in the clergy of the Forsaken. As a Priestess I can provide a peace for the damaged bodies and spirits of those I meet. I can offer something that could have helped me when I still lived.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I remember physical beauty that was both a gift and a hindrance. Now I have the true beauty of my Faith. My belief defines me know.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
- Having found peace in the glories of the Forsaken, I long to help all I meet experience it as well. Nothing is higher to me than this given task. I believe that the Grim is already working toward this goal. No other group has done so much to help the living shed their mortal coil and experience the glory of the Forsaken. I wish to add my hands, both healing and harm to your arsenal.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I have spent many years on a self imposed pilgrimage to bring the wisdom of the Forsaken to the living. It has been met with mixed emotions but in the end they see the gifts that I bring.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- The living is always foolishly trying to find ways to lengthen their hold on life. Their pacts, treaties and promises hold no sway over me as my purpose is higher and absolute.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- When you are logged in you are in character. Technical difficulties would be the only reason I could see for every breaking that.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
- I don’t expect there will be any difficulties with my character as I am running her. She follows the idea that peace comes from her hands – those who are like minded feel her healing, those who are not believers find pain.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- This is my first online RPG but I have been doing off-line RP for in AD&D and recently Champions, on and off for years.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- My brother-in-law (Agrovale) introduced me to WoW last year and I have been hooked ever since. He has assisted me on runs through quests and I have acted as healer on 5 mans numerous times but haven’t had the opportunity to do large raids very often. Hoping that will change if I am granted acceptance to the Grim.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Joe (Agrovale) always says such great things about the group of people he raids with, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to evolve this character with them.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
- I see your pain… living causes that. Let me help you. This might hurt a bit but you needn’t fear that anymore.
- Just thanks to the people that have taken the time to give this game the depth that guilds like the Grim can provide. Thank you for you time.

Re: Marrowen
Do not allow yourself to become misguided as to why the Grim do what we do. Most of us if not all do not care whether or not the enemies we slay rise again as Forsaken; rather we care that they do not rise again. Conversion is not our goal. Annihilation is.
We will speak with you further.
